6. Be courteous about your space; please leave room for other campers

7. Be aware of sprinkler heads when deciding where to pitch your tent

8. Fire restrictions – these can change daily based upon the fire threat level

Showers for CampersCampers can access showers at The EDGE during the following times:

• Saturday: 6 a.m. – 8 a.m. & noon – 6 p.m.

• Sunday: 6 a.m. – 9 a.m. & noon – 6 p.m.

• Monday: 6 a.m. – 11 a.m. (no afternoon access)

Please remember:1. Your Courage Classic camper wristband is your

shower ticket

2. Bring your own toiletries and towels

3. Be courteous with your shower length so your fellow campers can get a shower too!

Aid StationsAid stations and water stops are located throughout the route. Check your route map for exact locations. Be sure to stop, get a snack and refill your water bottles. Each aid station is staffed by volunteers and will have food, drinks, bathrooms, and medical and mechanical support. Please keep your bike off the side of the road when stopping.(Consult the Route Map for details)

Sag WagonsSag wagons are large vans with bike racks on the top. Riders (and their bikes) can catch sag wagons up hills, to the next aid station or to the Finish Line from any road along the course. Sag wagons do not have bike path access. Riders should pull off the road and flag down the approaching sag van. Riders with trailers or tandem bikes may have a longer wait because of space limitations. Those with children who need a car seat will be required to wait for our special car seat sag van. Please wait in the sag line at Minturn and Breckenridge lunch stops. Bottom of Vail Pass has a high volume of need for sag wagons. Please be patient. Sags will not take riders directly to Copper from Vail – they can only take riders from Bottom of Vail Pass to the Black Lakes aid station at the top of Vail Pass. From that location, riders can either ride back via the bike path or wait for another sag at Black Lakes to take them to Copper.

Bike ServiceMechanics from sponsoring bike shops are available at the Start/Finish Line and aid stations along the course to help riders with bike repairs. They will supply inexpensive parts and labor for free. Riders can pay for more expensive parts at the end of each day. Be sure to thank your mechanic for supporting Courage Classic!

Medical ServiceMedical volunteers are available at each aid station, along the route as biking/motor Medics (look for the red Medic jerseys/t-shirts) and at the Finish Line. They are equipped with first-aid items and are in contact

with EMS for more severe injuries. If a rider needs medical attention, please use your cell phone to call Medical Supervisor, Jason Kotas, (303) 746-5583. In a life threatening emergency call 911, then notify Jason Kotas.

MassageFor $40, you can receive a 30-minute sports massage from The Sports Massage Team. A portion of this fee will benefit Children’s Hospital Colorado. Massage times book quickly, so be sure to make an appointment. You’ll find the therapists in Ptarmigan rooms throughout the weekend with the following hours:

• Saturday: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.

• Sunday: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.

• Monday: 9 a.m. – Noon

Rider and Non-Rider MealsThe rider registration fee includes all lunches including the Finish Line lunch. Riders and their non-rider companions need a wristband or a meal ticket to eat in Jack’s Slopeside Grill. Meal plans and tickets may be purchased either at Registration on Friday or at the Tour Information Center during available hours throughout the weekend. Group meals are served at Jack’s Slopeside Grill.
