General Information

I chose the book: Turtles all the way down written by John Green. The book

has 288 pages. The book is about love, resilience and lifelong friendship.

John Michael Green (born August 24, 1977) is an American author,

vlogger, writer, producer, actor, editor, and educator. John Green

has written many books that have become very well known like

The Fault in Our Stars and Will Grayson Will Grayson.

The main character of the book is Aza Holmes. Aza holmes is a girl with

compulsive thoughts who determine her life.

My opinion

I really like this book because:

★ the book is a novel and I love novels

★ there are many things happening in the book

★ the main character is about my age so you have a bit of the same life

★ the book has a interesting subject because it is about someone with

compulsive thoughts

★ it’s nicely written

Would you recommend this book to a friend?

I would and wouldn’t recommend this book to a friend because there are

many difficult words in English that I

don’t know and you never use but in

terms of content it’s a super nice book.

Interview with Aza Holmes:Me How did you learn to live with your compulsions? Aza I go to a psychiatrist and I take medication even though I don't take them every day because I think they're taking over your body. Me But don't you want to have your thoughts gone even though you've to swallow pills Aza I want my thoughts away, but I don't want all those pills to take me over Me Do you think that entering into a relationship with Davis helps against the spiral? Aza No, I get in that spiral again, but he still gives me a happy feeling. Me Which disease are you most afraid of getting. Aza I am most afraid of C.Diff but actually also for all bacteria. Did you know that if you kiss you will have 80,000 bacteria in your mouth and they will always stay there. Imagine that the person has C.Diff and doesn't know it! Horrible! Me Why did you and Daisy tell the police that there was a camera on the tree that filmed Russell Pickett. Aza Daisy told the police when I did 't want that at all!

Me Then why did you take the $ 50,000 to not tell the police if you had already done it? Aza Because I could not say to Davis: I do not have the money because I have already said it against the police ... you are too late with the money. Me Yes, okay, I get it ... What did you buy from the money?
