Proper Management of Electoral Roll 1. Awareness through Banners and Hoardings2. Bulk SMS were sent3. Awareness through Cable TV and News

papers4. Local sentiments were added i.e. tarpa and

thali folk dances were used.5. Different registration camps were

organized specially in industrial area.6. Nukad Naatak and School student’s rallies

were also organized.7. Near about 25000 voters were added

Polling Stations1. 77 Auxiliary Polling Stations were

established2. BMF at all polling stations were

ensured.3. A survey of all polling stations was

conducted.4. Samiyana/Tent was erected at all

polling station.5. Appropriate signages was placed at

each polling stations.6. Helpdesks to facilitate the voters.

Voting Awareness

1. A dedicated vehicle along with folk dancers was engaged to aware the voters for ethical voting.

2. EVM demonstration at Hatt/ Local Bazzar, residential societies and imminent places.

3. Colour Voters slip 4. Sector Medical officers along with

Sector Magistrate and Sector Police Officer were appointed.

Law & Order1. Preventive Action2. 543 proceedings under Section 107 of

CrPC3. Sensitize the Political representatives

and candidates towards best electoral practices

4. Regular monitoring of SST, VST and MCC teams.

5. Confidence building measures.6. A pocket booklet “गा�गार” was compiled

and distributed to all concerned.

Poll Day management

1. A control room was setup to facilitate the voters and receive the polling information.

2. BLOs were appointed as helpdesk in charge.

3. Web-Casting, Videography and Micro-Observers were appointed to cover all polling stations.
