The UI mode is set via the user preferences inPeopleTools Personalizations. To set accessible mode user preferences, the user navigates to 'My Personalizations' and then selects'Personalize General Options.' The next step is to set the Accessibility Features Personalization Option to 'Use Accessible Layout'.

There is a section in the document "Enterprise PeopleTools 8.55 PeopleBook: PeopleSoft Accessibility Guide" titled "Setting UpPeopleSoft Accessibility Features" that further explains the steps to configure accessibility mode in the application.

This document describes the extent to which the product conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 'A' and'AA' levels as described at http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20/, and the applicable U.S. Section 508 standards, subject to Oracle'sinterpretation of those standards and the remarks in this document.
