Featuring St. Claire Regional All-Stars!
St. Claire Regional was a proud sponsor of the Harlem Ambassadors Vs. The Gateway Child Avengers event, which helped raise over $5,000 for the Gateway Children's Advocacy Center.
The Gateway Children's Advocacy Center was opened by a task force team in 2000. The group was made up of child protective services, law enforcement, prosecution, mental health and medical communities who wanted to improve the system's response to sexual abuse. Its mission is "to coordinate services to child sexual abuse victims in the Gateway area in a safe and nurturing enviornment where trauma is lessened and healing is enhanced," while promoting justice and healing.
A special thanks to SCR's All-Star basketball players: Ched Crouse, MD, SCR Orthopedic Surgeon, Chris McClurg, SCR VP, Finance/CFO,
Lee Ann O'Bryan, SCR Administrative Director of Infomatics, and Ice Watson, SCR Orderly!
