Virginia Western Community College
Be eligible to enroll in MTH173/MTH263:
Calculus with Analytic Geometry 1 or higher
level course
Have financial need as determined by FAFSA
Be a citizen or national of the United States as
defined in section 101(a) of the Immigration
and Nationality Act, or an alien admitted as
refugees under section 207 of the Immigration
and Nationality Act, or an alien lawfully
admitted to the U.S.A. for permanent
residence

The Virginia Tech Network for Engineering
Transfer Students (VT-NETS) aims to increase
the success of students following the community
college-to-bachelor's degree pathway to study
engineering starting at Northern Virginia or Vir-
ginia Western Community College and ending
at Virginia Tech. From the first day until gradua-
tion, VT-NETS supports its students.
Pursue an engineering bachelor’s degree, while maintaining an overall 3.2 GPA Aerospace Engineering Biological Systems Engineering Chemical Engineering Civil Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science Construction Engineering and Management Electrical Engineering Engineering Science and Mechanics Industrial and Systems Engineering Materials Science Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mining and Minerals Engineering Ocean Engineering
