Condensation drain pump
VTNC
250
The unit is supplied with a drain pump. Condensate may be discharged at a maximum height of 250 mm above the unit, as long as the ascending tube is vertical and aligned with the drainage flange.
VTNC external renewal air / air in adjacent room
21
External renewal air and treated air outlet in an adjacent room
The side openings made it possible to create a separate external renewal air inlet duct (5) and an air outlet duct in an adjacent room (6).

External renewal air
The external air flow mus t be less than 10% of the total air fl ow to avoid operating problems and noise. Any additi onal fans for external air suction (to be i nstalled by the installer) must be connected to the unit ter minal board. Use material suitabl e for operation at a constant temperature of 60 °C. The ducts may be made from fl exible pol yester ( with a spiral steel core) or corrugated aluminium, clad externally with anti-condensati on material (fibreglass of 12 ÷ 25 mm thick). Once i nstallati on is completed, the uninsulated surfaces of the ducts must be covered with anti-condensati on insulati on (for exampl e, expanded neoprene of 6 mm thick).

Air Outlet in Adjacent Room (for models 60-85 only)
An air outlet in an adj acent room r equires the closure of at leas t the mouth correspondi ng to the duct usi ng the specific kit KCB ( blocking outlet mouths). An air recover y grille should be ins talled between the air conditi oned room (where the unit is installed) and the adjacent room ( near the floor if possible). Do not use the two pre-cut side openings on the unit at the same time. Use material suitabl e for operation at a constant temperature of 60 °C. The ducts may be made from fl exible pol yester ( with a spiral steel core) or corrugated aluminium, clad externally with anti-condensati on material (fibreglass of 12 ÷ 25 mm thick).

Control panel installation in structions The control panel (KPF) must be installed at a minimum height of 1.5 m above ground level. It should not be installed near heat sources . (*) A recessed wall-mounted box must be provided ( of the type with one module for example) as the el ectrical connec tion ter minal board protrudes from the rear end of the control panel.
