9.6.4 Flora
No threatened or priority listed flora species were recorded within the DAF. Threatened and priority flora species were recorded by AECOM (2017) and Ecoscape (2018); however, all observations were outside the DAF.
9.6.5 Declared pests
The DAF was identified as containing two declared pest species listed under the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Act 2007 - *Asparagus asparagoides (Bridal Creeper) and *Solanum linnaenum (Apple of Sodom). Both species were recorded at numerous locations within the pipeline DAF. No declared pest species were observed within the ASDP site during surveys (Strategen 2017; AECOM 2017; Ecoscape 2018).
9.6.6 Dieback
Ecoscape (2018) did not record any dieback in the DAF, noting that the presence of calcareous soils and limestone meant that the likelihood of occurrence of dieback was considered very low. The AECOM (2017) survey identified one dieback infestation, one uninterpretable area and significant areas of uninfested vegetation although their exact locations in the current terrestrial DAF could not be identified.
9.6.7 Bush Forever
The pipeline DAF intersects a total of 20 ha of Bush Forever sites which are presented in Table 9-9 and Figure 9-4. Not all of the Bush Forever that may be impacted contain native vegetation, with a large proportion already cleared or in completely degraded condition.
The ASDP site does not intersect any Bush Forever sites.

9.6.8 Riparian and wetland vegetation
There is no identified riparian vegetation or wetlands within 5 km of the ASDP site.
The pipeline DAF intersects approximately 4.6 ha of Conservation Category Wetland (CCW). The corridor also intersects five other multiple use and resource enhancement wetlands as shown in Figure 9-4.
9.6.9 Groundwater dependent ecosystems
Broad-scale mapping conducted by the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) identifies Groundwater Dependent Ecosystems (GDEs) across the Swan Coastal Plain. GDEs are mapped through an assessment of vegetation types known to occur across that are known to have a dependence on groundwater resources. GDEs are classified as either terrestrial or aquatic (wetland) systems.
Several terrestrial and aquatic systems have been identified as potentially occurring within the DAF (BoM 2017), which are described in Table 9-10.
