The handheld has seven tuning steps to fit your needs. SteDscan be selected using SELECT mode as shown at ri$ht. i',

The tuning control changes the frequency in 100 kHz, 1 MHzor 10 MHz* steps using the dial select step for setting afrequency quickly. A memory channel number can be selected in VFO modeusing the dial select funct ion. This funct ion performs quickmemory wri t ings.

OMEMORY TRANSFERMemory channels 0 , ' , 9 can independently program offset:frequencies and opt ional subaudible tone frequencies. I his,means you can easi ly select these frequencies in the VFOusing the memory transfer function, even when the trans-ceiver is returned to SIMPLE mode.

I TREQUENCY SKIP & MEMORY SK|PThe frequency skip function can be activated during pro-grammed scan. The function skips unwanted signals thatinconvenient ly stop scanning such as no modulat ion signals.

The memory skip funct ion skips unnecessary memorychannels during memory scan, making shorter intervals formemory scanning.
