This unique event, which debuted in Charlotte, has become a major fund-raising event around the country for other World Affairs Councils. Teams from local businesses, schools and other organizations compete for prizes in this international trivia competition held each year in January. Challenging questions are prepared for the competition relating to current events, geography, and international issues.

• Final scores will be available after the award presentations; however, teams’ answer sheets or the competition questions themselves will not be made available after the event.

• Any team found using an atlas, dictionary, almanac, palm pilot, cell phone, newspaper, or any other unacceptable means of “assistance” will be immediately disqualified from the competition.

• All electronic devices - especially cell phones – MUST BE TURNED OFF DURING THE COMPETITION!

• This is a fun competition! Don’t take it too seriously or you will be disqualified at the discretion of the Judges!
