More money is bet in Nevada on Football than on any other sport. Football betting is simple. Just tell the ticket writer the number of the team you wish to bet and the amount of your wager. The minimum bet for any sporting event is $5.

If your team covers the point spread, you win. The payout is usually figured at odds of 11 to win 10. For example, a wager of $11 would win $10 for a total payout of $21.

NOTE: When a point spread applies, it is customary to bet in $11 dollar increments ($22, $33, $55, $110, etc). This is known as “laying the juice.” However, one’s entire wager, including juice, is refunded when cashing a winning ticket.

THE POINT SPREADWhen betting a Football game, the team you bet must “cover the spread.” In other words, they must win or lose by less than a stipulated margin of points.

Example: Bet Money Number Team Line Total Line

101 Cowboys 47 +130 102 Steelers -3 -150

In this example, the bet number of the Cowboys is 101. The bet number of the Steelers is 102. The bottom team is always the home team unless otherwise specified. Therefore, the Steelers would have the “home field advantage.” The point spread is always placed to the immediate right of the team that is favored. In this example, the Steelers are the favorite and must win by at least 4 points for you to win your bet.

The Cowboys are the underdog. They are getting 3 points. Therefore, the Cowboys would be declared the winner for betting purposes, if (1) they win the game outright; (2) the game ends in a tie, or (3) they lose the game by not more than 2 points. If the Steelers win by precisely 3 points, the result is a “push” and bets on both teams are refunded.

NOTE: Point spreads fluctuate. The listed point spread at the time of your transaction may be different than the opening or closing point spread on the game. However, the point spread in effect at the time you make your wager is official for betting purposes.

The “47” in this example is the TOTAL (also called the OVER/UNDER). You may wager that the final score of the game will be more than or less than this amount. To compute the OVER/UNDER, simply add the final scores of each team. This is an independent wager, so it makes no difference which team covers the point spread. The odds are 11 to win 10, unless stipulated otherwise. Overtime counts when betting the total.

THE MONEY LINEOn certain games bettors have the option of disregarding the point spread and wagering on a team to win the game. The Money Line is used to display these odds. In this example, one could bet the Steelers at odds of –150 instead of laying 3 points. One wins this bet if the Steelers win the game. The margin of victory is of no consequence. A $15 wager on the Steelers would win $10 for a payback of $25,or a $150 wager would win $100 for a payback of $250. A $100 bet on the Cowboys would win $130 for a payback of $230.

BUYING HALF POINT OR MOREOn Football and Basketball straight wagers, Players may buy a half point, a point, or more, by laying 6 to win 5 (-120), or additional vigorish from the current price on certain wagers.

FOOTBALL PARLAYS“Straight bet” wagers on one team against the point spread are the most common type of football bet. However, you may also combine several teams into one bet. This is known as a parlay.

In football, one may parlay 2 to 8 teams. All teams and totals must cover the point spread to win the bet. The odds are as follows:

Remember that your bet is refunded in over-the-counter parlays in addition to your winnings. Thus, a $50 2-team parlay would win $130, for a total return of $180.

NOTE: Any game or total resulting in a “push” or tie vs. the point spread reduces the parlay one notch. For example, a 5-team parlay with 4 winners and 1 “push” becomes a 4-team parlay. A 2-team parlay with 1 winner and 1 “push” is considered a straight bet. Parlay card payouts and rules may differ from over-the-counter parlays. In the event of a wagering tie, a 2-team teaser is deemed “No Action,” and

all money wagered is refunded. A tie in a 3-team teaser reduces the wager to a two-team teaser, etc. Ten point Teaser Special: College football only. Pays 5 to 6. Ties lose on 10 point Teaser Special.

PARLAY CARDSThese are extremely popular, offering the potential for a large return on a small bet. A parlay card bet can be placed for as little as $2. In addition, there may be numerous different types of parlay and teaser cards to choose from during football season.

Cards are distributed at the various locations in the Sports Book and at other convenient locations throughout the casino.

Simply darken the boxes that apply to the teams in your parlay. Likewise, darken the box that applies to the desired number of teams and bet amount. Bring the card to any Sports Book ticket writer and receive your betting slip (receipt). It’s as simple as that.

NOTE: Rules and payouts on parlay cards are slightly different from other parlays. These rules are spelled out clearly on the back of each card. Please read rules carefully before making your wager.

FOOTBALL TEASERSYou have the option of “teasing” the point spread up or down a specified number of points on multiple games. In other words, you may modify the point spread by adding points to an underdog and/or subtracting points from a favorite. We offer 6, 6 1/2 and 7-point Football teasers. Teaser odds are as follows:

Basketball betting is similar to football betting. Tell the ticket writer the number of the team you wish to bet and the amount of the wager. The odds are 11 to win 10 on straight bets, and the team you select must cover the point spread.

In this example, the Lakers are favored by 4 1/2 points. The Lakers must win by no less than 5 points to be counted as a winner for betting purposes. The Celtics need not necessarily win the game outright. If the Celtics lose by 4 points or less, they would cover the spread.

The “218” in this example is the OVER/UNDER. You may bet that the final score of the game will go over or under this stipulated number. If the combined score of both teams is exactly 218, the bet is refunded. As in football, the odds are 11 to win 10 regardless of which side you bet. Overtime counts in all total wagers.

BASKETBALL TEASERSIn a Basketball parlay, one has the option of “teasing” the point spread up or down a specified number of points. FUTURESOn certain competitions, odds to win the event may be available well in advance; such as Conference or League Championships, Pennants, Tournaments, etc.

Golf, Tennis and Auto Racing “Futures” are generally available closer to the start of the event.

Odds on these events may, or may not, be displayed on the betting board or sheets in the display rack. If you don’t see what you are looking for, please ask any ticket writer for assistance.

Odds may change without notice, but payouts are determined by the odds at the time that you make your wager.

PROPOSITION BETSThese are sometimes called “exotic bets.” Proposition bets are sometimes available on marquee events. As an example, odds may be posted on which player has the longest run from scrimmage in a championship game. Any available Proposition bets may be displayed on the betting board, or sheet rack, depending on space availability. Golf and Auto Racing “Head-to-Head Match-Ups” or “Best Order of Finish” are popular Proposition bets.

Betting a Baseball game is easy. Simply tell the ticket writer the number of the team you wish to bet and the amount of your wager. The payoff on a winning selection varies according to the odds.

In this matchup, the Dodgers are the home team. The home team is always on the bottom unless stipulated otherwise. The line on the Dodgers is -130. The “minus” (-) preceding the number 130 indicates that the Dodgers are the favorite. The plus (+) preceding the line on the Giants indicates that they are the underdog.

All Money Lines are based on $100 unless otherwise specified. A $130 bet on the Dodgers would win $100 for a total payout of $230. A $100 wager on the underdog (Giants) would win $120 for a total return of $220.

The number to the right of the Money Lines in this example, 7 1/2, is the TOTAL (the OVER/UNDER). The total is the combined score of both teams. One may wager whether the final score of the game will go over or under the stipulated total. The odds on the total are also expressed by the Money Line. In this example, the odds are –110 (1.1 to 1) on either side. A wager of $11 would win $10, for a total payout of $21

When betting the OVER/UNDER, the game must go 9 innings or 8 1/2 innings if the home team is ahead. Both listed pitchers must start the game or the bet is refunded. All runs scored in extra innings count in OVER/UNDER bets.

Another way to bet a baseball game is on the “First Five Innings”. This is a wager placed the same way as the previous example, however it is only on the outcome of the first 5 full innings (Listed pitchers must start for this wager type to have action).

NOTE: Called games must go 5 innings or 4 1/2 innings if the home team is ahead. If a game goes past 5 innings and is subsequently called, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning (unless after 4 1/2 innings the home team ties or takes the lead. The score at this point will stand). For betting purposes there are no suspended games.

BASEBALL RUN LINESWe may also offer a “Run Line” alternative for Baseball bettors. The Run Line in Baseball is similar to the Point Spread in other sports, except that the payouts vary according to the Money Line odds that are assigned to each possible outcome.

Example: 101 Giants Marichal +1 1/2 -180 102 Dodgers Koufax -1 1/2 +160

In this example, the Dodgers must win the game by 2 or more runs to be counted as a winner for betting purposes. The odds on this outcome are +160. A $10 wager on the Dodgers would win $16, for a payback of $26.

Betting the Giants on the Run Line, you get 1 1/2 runs. The Giants can win the game, or lose by one run, and you would win your bet. In this example, the odds are-180. An $18 wager would win $10, a payback of $28.

The same rules apply to Run Line bets as to OVER/ UNDERS. The game must go 9 innings, or 8 1/2 innings if the home team is ahead, and both listed pitchers must start the game.

BASEBALL PARLAYSA parlay is a wager that combines several teams into one bet. Baseball parlays are figured at true odds. Simply calculate the payout on the first game and then apply that amount to the next game, etc. Money Line parlays have a maximum payoff of 299 to 1.

LISTED PITCHER (S) OPTION:When betting Baseball, you have the option of betting team vs. team, or specifying that either, or both listed pitchers must start the game.

NOTE: Although rarely applied, Baseball is the only sport in which the odds may be adjusted after your wager has been made. Since Baseball odds are predicated on the starting pitchers, any late pitching change may compel an adjustment in the odds. This will increase or decrease the payout on a winning ticket.

HOCKEY

Odds on Hockey include features of the Point Spread and the Money Line or straight Money Lines alone.

Example: Bet Money Number Team Line Line 2401 Golden Knights +1 1/2 +130 2402 Kings -1 1/2 -150

In this example, the Kings are favored by 1 1/2 goals. The Kings must win the game by at least two goals to be a winner for betting purposes. If selecting the Golden Knights, you win your bet if (1) they win the game outright; (2) the game ends in a tie; or (3) the Kings win the game by exactly one goal.

The numbers to the far right are the Money Line. Please note that the Money Line in this example is not an alternative way of betting the game. Rather, it is used in combination with the spread. However, in Hockey, straight Money Line win wagers may also be available, without a point spread.

In the example above, the odds that the Kings will win the game by two or more goals is -150. As in Baseball, you must wager $15 for each $10 you hope to win (a $25 payback).

The odds on the Golden Knights are +130. So long as the Golden Knights do not lose the game by two goals or more, you would win your bet at odds of 13/10. A $10 bet would win $13 (a $23 payback).

OVER/UNDER - Wagers are normally available in Hockey. The rules are similar to that of Baseball. In this example, betting on over (6 goals) you would lay $15 to win $10 (a $25 payback) conversely, betting on under (6 goals), a $10 bet wins $13 (a payback of $23).

PARLAYS - In Hockey, you may parlay 2-8 teams. Parlay winnings are a product of the odds on each team you select. Hockey parlays are calculated the same as Baseball parlays (see page 9).

As in Baseball, the Money Line is used in Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts to display the odds of winning the event.

Example: Muhammad Ali -280 Rocky Marciano +230

The “minus” (-) designates the favorite. The “plus” (+) designates the underdog. In this example, we can see that Ali is favored at odds of -280. What this means is that you would bet $2.80 to win $1 for a total return of$3.80. Marciano is the underdog with odds of +230. For every $1 bet you would collect $2.30 for a total return of $3.30.

ROUNDS PROPOSITIONOn selected fights you may have the option of betting that the fight goes a stipulated distance.

Example:

Ali-Marciano Round Prop:

Will Go 9 Full Rounds +120 Will Not Go 9 Full Rounds -140

In this example, you may bet that the duration of the fight is more than or less than 9 rounds. If you bet “Will Go” or “Does Go” you would wager $100 to win $120 that the fight will last longer than 9 full rounds for a total payout of $220. To bet “Will Not Go”, you would wager $140 to win $100 for a total payout of $240.

In rounds propositions, it makes no difference which fighter wins.

Fight wagering propositions may be available where a bettor can select the exact round in which the fight will end or if a certain fighter will win by knockout, decision or if the fight will end in a draw.

Odds in Soccer include wagers on the Money Line (Three Way Wagering), Game Spread and Total.

Example: Bet Money Number Team Line 21001 Chelsea +170 21002 Arsenal +135 21003 Draw +200

In this example there are three (3) possible outcomes in a soccer match. Chelsea or Arsenal to win the game in regulation time or if the wagering match includes the draw as a third option and the match ends in a draw, (90 minutes Plus Injury Time Only) wagers on the draw will be paid, while wagers on both teams will be lost.

The Money Line of Chelsea is +170. All Money Lines are based on $100 unless otherwise specified. A $100 wager on Chelsea would win $170 for a total payout of $270.

GAME SPREAD

Example: Bet Money Number Team Line Line 21001 Chelsea +1 1/2 +110 21002 Arsenal -1 1/2 -140

In this example, Arsenal is favored by 1 1/2 goals. Arsenal must win the game by at least two goals to be a winner for betting purposes. If selecting Chelsea, you win your bet if (1) they win the match outright; (2) the match ends in a draw; or (3) Arsenal wins the match by exactly one goal.

In the example above, the odds that Arsenal will win the match by two or more goals is -140. In the event they do win by more than two goals; a $140 wager would win $100 for a total payout of $240.

Our Race Books offer horse betting at most all major domestic thoroughbred and harness tracks. We may also offer occasional quarterhorse and greyhound wagering. Most races are simulcast. Racing enthusiasts are welcome to spend the day in our race book. The amenities provided include scratch sheets, free parking and complimentary cocktail service. Racing forms and programs are available at the ticket counter.

To make a race bet:1. Tell the ticket writer the name of the track

NOTE: Nevada Gaming Regulations specify that no wager may be accepted or changed once the first horse enters the starting gate on televised races. For non-televised tracks, races are closed two minutes prior to actual post time. Please place your wagers early to avoid being shut out.

HORSE RACINGWe offer a complete spectrum of Race Book wagering possibilities. We offer no-limit, Pari-Mutuel wagering and a variety of special house wagers. The most popular methods of wagering are listed below:

WIN – A wager that a selected horse will finish first. By far, the most popular form of race wagering.

PLACE – A wager that a selected horse will finish either first or second. A good “insurance” wager for those horses that always seem to get nipped at the wire.

SHOW – A wager that a selected horse will finish either first, second or third. A high-winning-frequency wager that will send you to the cashier’s window many times.

TRACK/HOUSE QUINELLAS – A wager on two horses in the same race in which both must finish first and second. Either horse can win or place, so you need not specify the exact order of finish. Quinella wagering is the easiest exotic to hit. Don’t overlook hooking up your second choice with your primary selection in a Quinella wager. Payoff on house Quinellas are not based upon the track mutuel, but rather, by a standard formula of the track win mutuel, times one-half the place mutuel of the place horse.

EXACTA – A wager on two horses in the same race to finish first and second, exactly in that order. Exacta wagering is generally offered on races designated by the track as exacta races. A true test for the serious handicapper. An extremely popular wager because of the chance of large Exacta payoffs.

DAILY DOUBLE – A wager involving two horses, each in a different race. Players must select the winner of both races. Daily Double races are specifically designated at the track. Typically, tracks offer Daily Double wagering on the first two races of the day, but oftentimes such wagering is also offered on two other specified races. Considered a granddaddy of exotic wagering.

SUPER HI-5 – Correctly select the horses who will be the first five to cross the finish line first. If you pick them in the exact right order, you win.

TRIFECTA – A wager on three horses in the same race to finish first, second and third, exactly in that order. Trifecta wagering is generally offered only on those races designated by the track. A long-shot special for the lucky handicapper. Superfecta (exact order of the first four finishers) is becoming a popular wager where available.

PICK 6 – This progressive, Pari-Mutuel wager requires the bettor to pick the winner in six consecutive races. For a small bet, players have a chance for a very big payoff. Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 7 and Pick 9 wagers are also popular at certain tracks.

TWIN QUINELLA - The “Twin Quinella” comprises two different races selected by management. Players must pick the winning Quinella (1st and 2nd finishers, in either order) in both designated races. The cost per four horse combination is $2. Multiple combination tickets will be accepted.

ENTRY AND FIELD HORSES – If two or more horses in the same race have common owners or trainers, they may be classified as one betting interest.

SCRATCH – A horse is officially withdrawn from a race, or is officially declared a non-starter. If a horse is scratched after your wager is placed, the bet will be refunded with the exception of entry bets and parlays. Please check the posted Race Book House Wagering Rules for a complete explanation on how scratches affect these types of wagers. NEVADA LAW REQUIRES THAT:

NON-TELEVISED RACING – No wager may be accepted subsequent to two minutes before post time.

TELEVISED RACING – No wager may be accepted after the last horse enters the starting gate.
