Eligibility Criteria for the post of Assistant Professor in (Forensic Science, Forensic Psychology, Physical Education & Sports & Statistics – Sr. No. 1,2,3 & 4)

Essential qualifications:

- Master ‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the

grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian

University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

- Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National

Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by

the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance

with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award

of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to

time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

Provided, the candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall

be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/Bye-laws/Regulations of

the Institution awarding the degree and such Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from

the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant

Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the

fulfilment of the following conditions: -

a) The Ph.D. degree of the candidate has been awarded in a regular mode;

b) The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by at least two external examiners;

c) An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate has been conducted;

d) The Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work, out of

which at least one is in a refereed journal;

e) The Candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph. D work in

conferences/seminars sponsored/ funded/supported by the UGC / ICSSR/ CSIR

or any similar agency.

The fulfilment of these conditions is to be certified by the Registrar or the Dean

(Academic Affairs) of the University concerned.

Note: NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in

disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test

accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET.

Desirable Qualification:

1. Teaching, Research and / or professional experience from reputed organization 2. Papers presented / published at Conferences and / or in refereed journals 3. Proficiency in English and working knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi.

Eligibility Criteria for the post of Soft Skills Trainer (Sr. No. 5)

Essential qualifications:

1. A Master ‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the

grading system is followed) in English/Journalism/ Mass Communication subject from an

Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

2. Three years’ experience in relevant field preferably in educational institution/Public or

Private Enterprise or institute

Desirable Qualification:

1. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have cleared the National

Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the

UGC, like SLET/SET.

2. Teaching, Research and / or professional experience from reputed organization.

3. Papers presented / published at Conferences and / or in refereed journals.

4. Proficiency in English and working knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi.

5. Ph. D Degree in accordance with UGC Regulations.

6. Experience imparting Personality Development / Soft Skills.

Essential Requirement:

1. Bachelor’s degree of B. E /B. Tech from a recognized university or any equivalent

qualification and more than five years’ experience in relevant field.

3. To liase with internal and external authorities and individuals for supervision.

4. Demonstrative high standards of performance and coordination

5. Proven record of integrity, honesty, devotion to services, ability and commitment for

long working hours and weekends/holidays and professional commitment to meet

deadlines under stressful conditions essential

Essential Requirement:

1. Candidate must possess a Bachelors’ Degree in Botany or Zoology or Bio-chemistry

or Life Science or Microbiology or Forensic Science or Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry or

Pharmacy (as principal subject) obtained from any of the Universities established or

incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act. in India or any other educational

institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed University under Section 3

of the University Grants Commission Act 1956

Desirable / Preference: Candidate who possess –

1. Basic knowledge of computer

2. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician from recognized board or Institute

3. Experience of three (03) years in Forensic Laboratories or academic institution is

desirable

Essential Requirement:

1. Candidate must possess a High School / Graduate or equivalent from Government

Institution/Recognized institute OR Certificate of one-year training in the DMLT from

a recognized institute.

Desirable / Preference: Candidate who possess –

1. Knowledge of laboratory waste management practices.

2. Previous experience in handling a laboratory preferred.

1. Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with five years’ experience as a Hostel Warden.

2. Should have adequate knowledge of computer

3. Fluency in English and Gujarati Language.

4. The preference may be given to retired soldier who having experience of Hostel Warden.

5. Candidate must have to stay at Raksha Shakti University Lavad Campus.

જરૂરી લાયકાત :-

૧. ઉમેદવાર ટેકનિકલ એજ્યકેુશિ બોર્ડમાાંથી “ડર્પ્લોમા ઇિ ઓટોમોબાઇલ એન્જિનિયરીંગ” િી લાયકાત ધરાવતો હોવો િોઈએ અથવા આઈ.ટી.આઈ પ્રમાણિત મોટર નમકેનિકિી લાયકાત ધરાવતો હોવો િોઈએ.

૨. ઉમેદવારિે કોમ્પપ્યટુરનુાં જ્ઞાિ હોવુાં િોઈએ.

૩. ઉમેદવારિે ગિુરાતી ભાષાનુાં પરુત ુાં તેમિ અંગ્રેજી અિે ડહજદીનુાં પ્રાથનમક જ્ઞાિ હોવુાં િોઈએ.

૪. ઉમેદવાર િો “ડર્પ્લોમા ઇિ ઓટોમોબાઇલ એન્જિનિયરીંગ” િી લાયકાત ધરાવતો હોય ત ેડકસ્સામાાં ઓછામાાં ઓછા ૧૦ ભારે વાહિો (Heavy Vehicle) િી મરામતિી ક્ષમતા ધરાવતી સાંસ્થાિો નમકેનિક/ઓટોમોબાઇલિી કામગીરીિો ઓછામાાં ઓછા ૨ (બે) વષડિો અનભુવ ધરાવતો હોવો િોઈએ.

જરૂરી લાયકાત :-

૧. ઉમેદવાર કેજ ર સરકાર / રાજ્ય સરકાર દ્વારા રચિા કરેલ બોર્ડ / સાંસ્થા દ્વારા લેવાયેલ ધોરિ -૧રિી પરીક્ષા અથવા સરકાર માજ ય સમકક્ષ પરીક્ષા ઉનિિડ કરેલ હોવી િોઇએ.

૨. પાાંચ વષડિો ભારે વાહિિો ડ્રાઇવીંગિો અનભુવ હોવો િોઇએ.

૩. હળવા મોટર વાહિો અિે ભારે મોટર વાહિોનુાં પાાંચ વષડથી અમલમાાં હોય તેવુાં વેલીર્ મોટર

ડ્રાઇવીંગ લાયસજ સ ધરાવતા હોવા િોઇએ.

૪. ડ્રાઇવીંગિી પ્રાયોણગક પરીક્ષા પાસ કરી હોવી િોઇએ અિે મોટર વાહિોિી જાળવિી, ટ્રાડિક

સાઇજ સ તેમિ હરે્ નસગ્ િલસનુાં યોગ્ ય જ્ઞાિ હોવુાં િોઇએ.

૫. આ ઉપરાાંત ઉમેદવારે ટાઈપીંગ/કોમ્પપ્યટુર/ઝરેોક્ષ/બાઈજર્ીંગ/પ્લન્મ્પબિંગ/સિાઈ કામ/

માળી/કાપેજટર/ઓિીસ સાિ-સિાઈ/લાયબ્રેરી/ગેસ્ટ હાઉસ મેઈજટેિજસ/પેજટ્રી મેિેિમેજટ

તેમિ યનુિવસીટી દ્વારા સોંપવામાાં આવે તેવા તમામ કામ પિ કરવાિા રહશેે.

કુશળતા કસોટી (Skill Test) :-

૧. ઉમેદવારિી ૫૦ (ગિુ)િી ડ્રાઈવીંગિી કુશળતા કસોટી (Skill Test) લેવામાાં આવશે, ત્યારબાદ કસોટીમાાં ઉનતિડ થયેલ ઉમેદવારિી ઇજટરવ્ય ુ માટે પસાંદગી કરવામાાં આવશે. કુશળતા કસોટી અિે ઇજટરવ્યિુા ગિુ િા આધારે ઉમેદવારિી આખરી પસાંદગી કરવામાાં આવશે.

General Instructions

1. The prescribed qualifications and/or experience shall be the minimum, and the mere fact that a candidate possesses the same shall not entitle him/her for interview. The Raksha Shakti University shall have the right to restrict the number of candidates to be interviewed to a reasonable level based on better or higher qualifications and experience than the minimum prescribed.

2. The Raksha Shakti University reserves the right not to fill in any of the positions or to fill

the positions at lower levels without stating any reason. It also reserves right to fill number of posts as per requirement of Raksha Shakti University not as per advertisement.

3. Canvassing or influencing in any form on behalf of any candidate will disqualify such

candidate. Raksha Shakti University reserves the right to take appropriate action against such candidate.

4. All the candidates are expected to download from RSU website, duly fill and bring along with them the “Brief Profile Form” for the interview. The Form should be neatly and legibly filled or typed preferably in at least 12 font size.

5. The complete Bio-data along with all self-attested copy of all relevant certificates and

documents should be brought at the time of interview. 6. Candidates who will reach after reporting time will not be allowed to appear in the

interview. 7. Read carefully teaching/research requirements of the relevant discipline and apply only

if you have requisite qualifications and experience. 8. The Raksha Shakti University shall have the right to:

a. relax any of the qualifications/experience at its discretion; b. draw/ reserve panel(s) against the possible vacancies in the near future;

9. Experience and qualification will be reckoned as on the date of interview.

10. No TA / DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.

11. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection, which may come to notice at any stage even after the issue of appointment letter, the Raksha Shakti University reserves the right to modify / withdraw / cancel any communication, made to the candidates.

12. In case of any dispute / ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the Raksha Shakti University shall be final and binding.

13. No correspondence will be entertained from candidates regarding postal delays, conduct and result of interview and reasons for not being called for interview.

14. The period of time spent by the candidates to acquire M. Phil and/or Ph. D Degree shall not be considered as teaching/research experience to be claimed for appointment to the teaching positions.

15. Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor shall submit a certificate from concerned University that the Ph. D degree obtained by him is in the compliance with the UGC (Minimum standards and procedure for award of M. Phil (Ph. D degree) Regulations 2009/2016 along with the Ordinance of Raksha Shakti University at the time of interview.

16. Candidate has to stay at Raksha Shakti University Lavad Campus, if required.

17. The appointment shall be governed by the rules and regulations of the Raksha Shakti University.
