The football pitch at St James School is currently
being redevelopedIn another visit in April 2014, Calton Area Association emphasised that a lot had happened since late 2013.
A new ‘Barrowlands Square’ is being developed which will provide concert space, open space and
places for fairs and events.
The Heritage Centre is now fully open, which it wasn’t
at the time of the community walkabouts.
St Lukes and St Andrew’s Church has been
purchased, and should result in redevelopment of the building and square.
