Walking a Line Blindfolded
Walking a Line Blindfolded
• Does darkness affect your ability to walk in a straight line.
• To find out, stand at one end of a large empty room; have a colleague place a small object at the base of the wall on the opposite side of the room.
• Then walk slowly along a straight-line path to the object, keeping your hands and arms stretched out toward the object as you walk.
Walking a Line Blindfolded
• Now repeat the process, face the object, observe it, then keep eyes closed or have a blindfold put on; then attempt to walk directly in a straight line to the object.
• Record what happens.
