PROCEDURE • It has a sensor at the top of the cane. While a

blind person is walking is walking on the road and if anything is in front of him it will detect and make a sound through speakers, also the cane vibrates.• In this way the person will come to know

something there in front of him so in that way he can take precautions while walking.• While crossing a road if the car is moving the

sensor detects and make the sound as well as it vibrates. so he can understand that the car is moving so we can avoid many accidents.

ITS MAIN FUNCTION•When obstacles are detected, the devices send different sets of vibrations through the cane to tell the user whether they should turn left or right away from the obstacle, and can even detect obstacles at head height.

CONCLUSION This is very useful for the blind

people who go out from their home.These can avoid accidents.This is not much expensive also it can

be affordable by poor people also..These canes are smart canes actually

which senses and help the blind patient in walking.
