looking to have an intimate ceremony, a relaxed wedding breakfast or somewhere to

hold an elaborate evening reception, our passionate and dedicated team can assist you

with every detail.

ROOM PACKAGES

To make organising your day as easy as possible we have a variety of packages

available. Each one includes an overnight stay in our gorgeous Bridal Suite with a

champagne breakfast the following morning.

Our head chef and his team take inspiration from classic pub dishes and insist on British

If your guests have travelled to your wedding and need a comfortable bed for the night,

then they need look no further than The Alma.

We are Wandsworth’s finest boutique hotel offering 23 boutique-style bedrooms. Each

one is individually designed by award winning hotel designers RDD. Every room

includes designer Hypnos beds – described as ‘the most comfortable in the world’, state

of the art Nespresso machines and wall mounted flat screen LED TVs.

We have been awarded Trip Advisor’s certificate of excellence every year for the past 4

years; are ranked within the top 40 of all hotels in London and within the top 3 of all 3*

hotels*.

Just as you would expect from any modern accommodation, The Alma offers room

service, express check-in and check-out and a laundry service - there’s also a 24-hour

concierge to help you with any request.

All our room rates include a choice of breakfasts from toast, butter and preserves to a

traditional english breakfast.

WEDDING INFO

The Bramford Room at The Alma, under the Marriages Act of 1994, is

licensed for Civil Marriage Ceremonies. Marriage ceremonies are

permitted by law to take place between the hours of 8am and 6pm on

every day of the week, including Sundays.

You do not need to be a resident of Wandsworth to get married at The

Alma but if either of the couple lives outside the borough, statutory notice

must be given in person by each party to the marriage and cannot be given

more than one year in advance.

It is a requirement of the Registrars that a manager is in attendance.

There is a legal restriction concerning readings and music. All readings

and music must be of a non-religious nature. Nothing, which could be

termed as an act of worship may take place during the ceremony.

Photography and video recordings are fully permissible throughout the

ceremony.

The cost of hire at The Alma does not include the registrar’s fees which

must be dealt with direct.

T’s & C’s

All bookings remain provisional until we receive your deposit.

By paying your deposit, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

The deposit is fully refundable up to 28 days prior to your event, after this date we’re

afraid it becomes non-refundable.

The venue requires a deposit of £450 or higher depending on the package (non-

transferable and non-refundable) to secure the booking. If the payment has not been

made within 14 days of the date being provisionally held the venue is entitled to class

the booking as cancelled.

Final payment is due no later than 21 days prior to the wedding date

The Alma accepts visa, master card, BACs and cash payments.

Any cancellations must be received in writing and signed by both parties within 12

months of the wedding date the deposit will be fully refundable.

Within 6 – 5 months – half of the deposit will be kept as a room hire fee.

Within less than 5 months of the date the deposit is non refundable.

For all weddings a 12.5% service charge will be added to the final bill.

You are able to add decorations to the rooms, however if the unlikely occurs and damage

is caused to our premises we will ask you to cover the cost of repair.

If hiring a DJ or performer you are liable if they cause any damage.

For evening functions music is to be turned off at 23:30 and you are to vacate the

premises by midnight.
