Vilkija and Cekiske, later killed 20 Jews in Jagminiskes

village.File contains Lithuanian passport with photo.

Gudavicius was arrested in 1944.

priziuretojas. Partisan in Rokiskis; supervisor at Rokiskis

prison; escorted Jews to the killing sites. The partisan

detachment consisted of 150 people, led by Jonas Ukas and

Marijonas Petkunas. The killings took place in "Steponiai"

and "Vidziunai" forests (4-5 kilometres far away the town),

some Jews were brought to be killed in Kupiskis. The

arrests of Jews started on July, all of them (about 5000)

were kept in Psisdecky estate. Men were shot on August

15, 1941, women and children – the next day.

guard during killings. On July 20, 1941 he was among

those who arrested 100 Joniskiai Jews who were killed near

Inturkiai. For this time Pumputis took part in killings. He

was also charged for the plundering of Jewish property.

Sentenced to 20 years of hard labor in 1945.
