• No End In Sight spoke about issues that further explored the troubles we now face with the war in Iraq.

• The film helped it’s audience understand the poor preparation for the war.– George W. Bush didn’t have any experience with war.– The government didn’t start planning the invasion on Iraq until

only 60 days before.– The meetings held at the Pentagon were entirely unstructured.– While in Iraq, U.S soldiers barley spoke Arabic.

IRAQ’S GOVERNMENT:

• The absolute rule of Saddam Hussein buckled on April 9, 2003.

• Sovereignty was returned to Iraq on June 28, 2004.• 275-member transitional National Assembly as of

January 30, 2005.

DEBA’ATHIFICATION:

• The United States strategy of removing Baath party members from Iraqi government positions following the fall of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

IRAQI MILIARY:• A professional Iraqi army is being shaped to replace

Saddam's army with a specialized force for maintaining peace and permanence.
