Page 2: Wario Master of Disguise

Wario: Master of Disguise is an interesting platformer/puzzle game for the DS. Just like the previous Wario games, this game is all about collecting treasure and going to any length to steal it! This time around, you have at your disposal a variety of disguises, each with its own unique abilities, to aid in your treasure hunt. Switching disguises utilizes the touch screen and can be rather tedious, but you can adapt to it after a while. It's definitely not the best Wario game I've played, but it is a worthy addition to the DS library and worth checking out sometime.

NOTE: As a note, you may sometimes encounter a "mimic" treasure chest, which is an enemy that will come to life and attack you. It randomly takes the place of a treasure chest in the later episodes, but not permanently. So basically, if you encounter it during one run through a stage, come back to the same spot later and you may be able to open the chest it replaced to find a treasure!

=======================================Episode 1: Whose Show Is This Anyway?!!=======================================

Page 3: Wario Master of Disguise

You begin the first stage of the game aboard the S.S. Caviar ship. You will meet the Silver Zephyr, also known as Count Cannoli, at the start as well. After stealing the Goodstyle wand, you will continue into a short tutorial where you will become Thief Wario, one of many disguises you will obtain throughout the game. Follow the directions to change into your thief garb, then practice jumping and dashing before ending the tutorial.

Once Wario dubs himself the Purple Wind, and Cannoli disappears, you will finally have control. So, from the start, go right into the next area. Inside the ship, go up the stairs and approach the first green treasure chest. Learn how to open chests, then complete the mini-game inside to obtain the Cosmic Guise Gem. Watch the tutorial to learn how to use your new disguise, then go right into the following area (come back later with Wicked Wario and fly up to a chest atop the pole containing the "Grizzled Prospector Candy").

Avoid Count Cannoli in this room (if you run into him, he will disappear and you can progress), then use Cosmic Wario to shoot the blue glowing switch in the air. Collect the "I Love You Lunchbox" treasure, then switch to Thief Wario and jump over the stack of boxes to reach the next room. Collect the S.S. Caviar Map, which will allow you to see all the rooms of the ship on your map located on the top screen. Go through this room and you will see lifeboats hanging from the ceiling. When you reach the rightmost one, shoot one of the ropes holding it up with Cosmic Wario, then jump from it onto the ladder, and climb into the room above.

When you reach the room above, push the block to the left and enter the door (touch the icon that appears when you're in front of a door to enter it). Go left through the next 2 rooms, past the elevator, and you will confront Count Cannoli again. Avoid him as you go all the way left, then go through the door at the end. Go into the left room and head up the steps to reach a hazard sign. Jump over the cracked floor which will crumble, and check the Wario hat to save your game.

From here, drop into the room below. When you land, go right and open the chest to claim the "Excavated T. rex Skull" treasure. Head left and drop to the lower ledge, then collect the "Sandals of Song" treasure. Jump over the

Page 4: Wario Master of Disguise

boxes to the right, then continue right into the next room. Go right and use Cosmic Wario to shoot one of the ropes holding up the rightmost lifeboat. Jump onto it and climb into the room above, then go through the door. Head left through three rooms, then go through the door at the end.

This time in here, shoot the birds with Cosmic Wario, then push the single block to the right. Jump onto it and push the stacked block to the right so it falls. Jump from the next stacked block to reach the high ledge, where you will find a chest containing the "Weightless Backpack". Use Cosmic Wario and shoot the blue switch and lower a ladder so you can reach it. Switch back to Thief Wario and jump/climb to the room above (come back to this room later with Dragon Wario and break the lower-right red fire block to find a chest containing the "Sapphire Topknot").

In this room, you will see a thin red laser trap; if you trip it, a giant hammer will swing down. Avoid setting off the trap so you can proceed, then head all the way left along the lower path by pushing the stacked blocks to the left so they fall to the ground. In the room to the far left, open the chest to collect the "Reindeer Headlamp" treasure. Go back into the previous room and jump to the upper ledge. When you are ready, climb the ladder to reach the boss area. Here, you will meet with Count Cannoli and a battle will commence.

During this and any future boss fights, Goodstyle will provide hints as to what disguise you should be using in the lower-left corner of the touch screen. The hints will come in the form of icons corresponding to a given disguise. For this first battle, you only have two disguises at your disposal, so it will be rather straightforward.

To start off, Cannoli will float towards you, dropping bombs to attack (you can destroy them with Cosmic Wario's lasers). A blue switch above Cannoli will periodically start to glow; when it does, use Cosmic Wario and shoot a laser at it. This will stun Cannoli and open up the glass shield protecting him. Quickly switch back to Thief Wario and jump on his head to cause damage. Cannoli will then dash across the room with his drill bit spinning; simply duck down to avoid it. Repeat the same strategy two more times to defeat him,

Page 5: Wario Master of Disguise

completing this episode!

==============================================Episode 2: The Purple Wind Stinks up the Ship!==============================================

When you meet up with Count Cannoli at the start, you will learn about the Wishstone, which is what you're after on the ship. Once you gain control, go right and enter the door to get inside the ship. Climb down the ladder to reach the room below, where you will see Cannoli demonstrate the fact that enemies drop gems which help to level up your disguises. Head left and jump through the openings in the pipes, stopping to avoid the steam when it shoots from the ceiling. At the end, defeat a couple of rats and push the block against the left wall. Then, duck down and crawl through the left passage.

In the next room, jump to the upper-left ledge and open the chest to obtain the S.S. Caviar Map for this episode. Drop down to the lower area and you will see a switch on a ledge, which will open a door below it. You can't keep the switch pressed for now, so drop to the ledge below it and enter the regular door. Inside, jump over the stacked boxes and open the chest to get the Arty Guise Gem (come back later to open a chest containing the "Big Scoop Camera". This will allow you to create boxes out of thin air. Become Arty Wario and make a box so you can jump over the tall stack and exit this room.

Back in the previous room, use Arty Wario and draw a box above the switch on the upper ledge; this will open the gate to the right. In there, use Arty Wario to make a block in the corner, then become Thief Wario and jump from it to the upper ledge. Open the chest to get the Vita Mighty, which will add another heart to your health meter. If you come back later, a red chest will be here containing "The Earwax Rifle". Make a box over the switch with Arty Wario, then exit the room. From here, go down the stairs into the next room.

In this large room, go right and drop to the lower area, then head left. Get onto the ledge above the red block with fire in the middle. As Arty Wario, make a box directly above it, then crawl through the left passage as Thief Wario. In the room where you emerge, switch to Cosmic Wario and you will see

Page 6: Wario Master of Disguise

four switches on the left wall. If you shoot one, it will switch any adjacent switches. The idea is to light them all up, so shoot the second one, the third one, then the fourth one. This will turn on the elevator elsewhere in the ship. Exit by going through the door to the right.

Go right and jump to the upper ledge, and defeat the rat. Hop onto the top platform and open the chest to find the "Turbo Chompers" treasure. Drop to the middle platform and go right, pushing the block off the far end of the platform. As Cosmic Wario, shoot lasers through the passage to kill the gold rat on the other side. When it's safe, crawl through and switch to Arty Wario again. Create a box to the right, then crawl through the passage and shoot the blue switch as Cosmic Wario. Become Thief Wario again and crawl to the left, then jump to the now-accessible ladder and climb it. Then, follow the path into the east room. There, simply drop down and go through the door.

In the next room, simply go right into the tall elevator room. You will see a locked door ahead; you cannot enter it yet, so hop onto the elevator. To move up/down on it, use Cosmic Wario and shoot the glowing blue switches on either side quickly. On the second floor, check the Wario hat to the left and save your game. Then, go across and enter the east room.

Here in this water-filled area, go right and defeat the enemy, then switch to Cosmic Wario. Shoot the chandelier hanging over the gap twice, and jump across it as Thief Wario. In the upper-right area, hop into the small pool and open the chest to get the "Superfantastical Money Tree" treasure. Jump out of the water and hop onto the chandelier again. Shoot its chain four times so you end up directly above the large pool below. Shoot the chain of the next chandelier to the right twice, then hop onto it. From there, drop off the right side and land in the lower-right corner. Open the chest in the water to get the Genius Guise Gem. Come back later and you can open a red chest containing the "Hairy Macho Bathrobe" here.

With this new disguise, you will be able to find secrets in certain rooms. For now, switch to Thief Wario and go left, jumping over the strong currents

Page 7: Wario Master of Disguise

to escape. Climb the ladder to the top ledge and head back to the elevator room. This time, take it to the fourth floor and enter the east room once you get there. You will find another set of four blue switches to light up in a row. Shoot the second, then fourth switches to light them all up, thus opening the gate. Open the chest and complete its puzzle to receive the Master Key.

Now that you can open the locked doors, take the elevator back to the first floor and unlock the eastern door. In the room where you emerge, jump onto the stacked block and switch to Arty Wario. Create a box on either side, then stand on it and push the stacked block into the gap on the opposite side. With the door exposed, go into the new room.

In here, save with the Wario hat, then trigger the first laser trap to open two sets of gates which will close after a period of time. Hop through the first set and go right, triggering another trap which will swing a giant hammer from above. Crawl past it and jump through the closing gates to reach the following room. You will be confronted by Cannoli here, who will taunt you before opening the nearby lid and jumping into the ship's underbelly. Hop into the hole yourself to reach the next area.

Down below, go left, and climb the ladder to reach the lower area. Head right a short bit before climbing down into a new room. In this room, switch to Cosmic Wario and jump/shoot lasers through the openings in the pipes to hit the two blue switches on each side of the room. This may take a while, but once you hit them, climb down the ladder and go into the west room. Here, trigger the trap by walking through the laser, then quickly run all the way left and jump through the moving openings to the right. Get onto the upper ledge and head right through the opening as the gates close (you may have to do this a couple times).

When you get through, climb into the room above. There, jump through a series of openings to the left while avoiding some more steam. Defeat the gold rat at the other end, then use Arty Wario to create a box. Switch to Thief Wario and jump from the box to the high ledge so you can continue onward. In the room ahead, use Arty Wario to press the switch, opening up a hole in the

Page 8: Wario Master of Disguise

floor so you can drop through. Make your way downward, defeating a bunch of rats along the way. At the very bottom, save your game, but before you continue, use Dragon Wario to fall through the thin ledge into the room below. There, use Sparky Wario to see where you're going and open two chests to receive the "Forever X-ray Glasses" and "Stinky Blue Cheese". Get back to the room above, then head into the boss room to the left.

Here, you will engage in a boss fight against Count Cannoli, as you would expect. His machine will try to punch you if you get close, as well as perform a dashing punch (duck to avoid). For the first phase of attack, switch to Cosmic Wario and shoot a laser at the yellow eye in the machine's hat. This will reveal a switch on its head; use Arty Wario and place a box on the switch, revealing Cannoli himself. As Thief Wario, jump on his head to cause damage. Avoid the bombs he drops immediately after recovering, then repeat the process two more times to win.

After the fight, you will find out that the Wishstone is actually split into five pieces, and you've only recovered the first piece here. The next one is located in a museum, so that's where the next episode will take place.

=======================================Episode 3: The Sphinx Sits on a Secret!=======================================

When you arrive at the museum, go right to enter the building. Head up the stairs and switch to Cosmic Wario at the top. Shoot the chain holding up the chandelier a couple times, then jump onto it as Thief Wario. From there, shoot down the chandelier to the right, then jump from it to the high ledge. Open the chest to find the "Scary Wrestler Mask". Jump back to the stairs below and enter the room to the right.

Go right and you will come to a locked gate. Your Goodstyle will tell you that it needs to be opened by other means than brute force. You will also be directed towards the exhibits in the background (pay attention to what's on display in this and other rooms; it will come in handy). Go back to the previous room, but this time, go all the way downstairs to the room below. Down here, you will start to see museum guards. If they see you, they will blow a whistle, which will call other guards to come in and attack you. You can stun guards temporarily by jumping on them.

Page 9: Wario Master of Disguise

Anyway, head left and down, then follow the lower path to the following room to the right. Check out the next exhibit panel and stun the guard, then use Arty Wario to press the switch on the high ledge, lowering a ladder. Climb it to reach the upper floor, then go into the right room. Walk up to the locked gate, then go through the regular door to reach a new room. In there, dash through the statues and continue to the west room.

In here, use Arty Wario to make a box above the switch on the high ledge, which will open the passage below. Head down the stairs and enter the lower-right room through the door. You will emerge in the actual exhibit casings on the first floor. Go all the way left and open the chest to receive the "Mouse Trap Gum" treasure. Climb the ladders to the top level, then hit the switch to the left to open the door outside. Head right and open another chest to find the Smithsnorian Museum Map, which will prove useful to you.

Now, climb back down to the bottom and exit through the door. Head back upstairs and into the upper-right room, then dash through the statues and go through another door. Back in the exhibit hall, run all the way left and pass through the now-open gate. Step on the floor switch to turn on the power, opening the upstairs room. From here, jump into a hidden passage to the left and crawl through, then run all the way upstairs. When you reach the vault, go right into it to meet the Sphinx.

Jump onto the glowing platform in front of the Sphinx to talk to it. He will tell you to find his three special treasures before he gives you any further information. Crawl through a hidden passage at the bottom of the Sphinx platform, then go through the door at the other side. In the next room, jump to the upper ledge and step on the floor switch, which will open the gate below it. Jump to the room above and collect a heart if you need it, then open the chest to receive the Sparky Guise Gem. This will enable you to power up certain devices and light up dark rooms. If you return here later, you will find a new chest containing the "Pompadour of Legend" treasure.

Now, go through the door to the right and enter the dark room. Use Sparky Wario to light up the area (tap the screen to light up the rest of the room for a brief time). Use the Wario hat to save, then jump over the gap and use Thief Wario to jump to the high ledge. Use Sparky Wario to open the chest

Page 10: Wario Master of Disguise

there to receive the "Matching Frilly Pink T-Shirts". From here, go into the next room to the left.

Here, stand in front of the plug as Sparky Wario and tap anywhere on the screen to power up the machine. You will have to answer a riddle in order to proceed; the riddles are based around the exhibits you've seen and hopefully paid attention to. Answer the question properly and the door will open; get it wrong and you'll fall into the room below and will have to come back again.

In the west room, quickly jump on the first guard to stun him, then use Arty Wario to put a box on the switch above. Switch to Thief Wario and jump onto the moving platforms, and head to the right platform. Go through the open gate and collect the "Pharaoh's Underwear", which is the first special treasure. Next, go into the room to the far left. Use Arty Wario to make a block in the lower area, then jump from it to get over the red block above. On the other side, drop through some hidden passages and hit the switch to open a gate. Jump back out and drop through the opening to the room below.

When you land in the large room with stairs, drop to the lower ledge and go into the east room. Continue onward to the Sphinx room (it's the red room on your map), then crawl through the passage below the Sphinx and enter the door at the other end. This time, go left into the now-open room. Follow the path all the way left, defeating the enemies along the way, then drop to the lower area via a hidden hole in the platform. Below, go right and open the chest to receive "Pharaoh's Nose Hair", the second special treasure.

Go right and drop down another gap to get back inside the museum. When you land, simply go through the door to the next room. You will see a ladder to the right here; if you go up, you can view some more exhibits and not much else. Head down the ladder to the bottom area, then continue into the lower-right room. Stun the guard there and crawl through a hidden passage to the right leading into another room. There, use Arty Wario to make a box so you can jump to one of the ledges. Stand on the switch on your ledge and use Arty

Page 11: Wario Master of Disguise

Wario again to place a box on the opposite switch. This will drop the chest onto the ground so you can open it to receive the Captain Guise Gem (come back later and you can find a red chest with the "Panda Panzer" treasure inside).

Now that you have the Captain disguise, go through the door below. In that room, become Captain Wario and jump into the water to float, then swim all the way to the left while avoiding the spiked balls (draw lines in the water to swim). At the far end, jump onto the ledge and open the chest to receive the "Malodorous Keepsake". Become Thief Wario and sink into the water to reach the room below. Run through the water to the left, then jump out and head up the ledges to the room above.

Jump up the ledges to the top, then head into the upper-right room. Dash through the statues and go through the door at the other side. In the next room, go down the ladder and continue to the following area. There, stun the guard and become Genius Wario to reveal hidden moving platforms. Jump onto them to reach the very top area, then crawl through the top passage into the room to the right. When you emerge, open the chest to get the "Classy Bubble Pipe" treasure.

After that, go through the door below. In the next room, use Arty Wario and place a box on the edge of your slightly elevated platform, then jump from it to reach the high platform above as Thief Wario. Open the chest up there to find the "Infield Diamond Dirt". Next, go all the way left, dashing through the statues, then climb the ladder at the end. Use Sparky Wario to power up the riddle machine here, and answer it correctly to proceed onward.

In the next room, save with the Wario hat before going through the door. In the exhibit case, go left and open the chest to receive the "Heat-Seeking Soccer Ball". In the second part, open the purple chest to receive "Pharaoh's Pillow". With all three special treasures, you can proceed to the Sphinx. Drop down the nearby hole to reach the downstairs room. There, climb down the two ladders and go through the door to the right.

Head to the room upstairs, then dash through the statues and go through another door. In the room you arrive in, head all the way left until you

Page 12: Wario Master of Disguise

reach the room with the switch. Crawl through the hidden passage, then head all the way upstairs and to the right until you reach the Sphinx room. Jump onto the glowing platform to speak with him, and you will have to answer three riddles in a row correctly. Succeed at doing this and the Sphinx will point you towards a cave. That will be your next destination, and this episode will end here!

======================================Episode 4: A Third Thief Brings Grief!======================================

From the start, slide down the hill and fall into the pit to enter the cave itself. When you land, watch the scene with Wario and Cannoli hiding in the corner as a snowman. Before you continue, go back to the east room. Use Arty Wario to place a box in the corner, then crawl through a hidden passage in the wall. Open the chest at the other side to find the "Majestic Heart-Shaped Straw" treasure. Now, crawl back through the passage and head into the next room.

In the following room, defeat the ape and slide across to the next room. Open the purple chest here to receive the Sneezemore Cave Map. Continue into the west room and you will meet Carpaccio, the mysterious third thief. You will also see four colored bird statues, which you will have to collect crystals in order to open the path forward.

That said, go back out of this room, and jump to the upper ledge. Save your game, then push the fire block to the right. Jump onto it, then over to the upper-right platform. Hop up the steps and go through the door at the top. In that room, go up the ladder and head through the door to the right. Cross the icy path in this room, then jump up the ledges at the far end. Go left along the top area, then push the blue fire block off the ledge and drop down to reach a chest containing the Red Crystal. This is the first of four crystals used to open the statue room.

Head right and drop to the lower area, then head left to the door. After you

Page 13: Wario Master of Disguise

get the mastery gem for Captain Wario, drop into the water and shoot torpedoes at the underwater blocks to open the way to another chest containing "Jurassic Snot". Otherwise, go through the door to exit this room. Next, jump to the thin ledge above you and open the chest to get the Dragon Guise Gem (return later to find a red chest here containing the "Golden Throne"). You can now breathe fire to destroy the fire blocks (only the red ones for now; the blue ones can be broken later), as well as fall through thin platforms. Test it out by dropping to the bottom of this room and burning through the row of fire blocks to the right to uncover a save point.

Save your game, then head left into the lower-left room. Use Dragon Wario to destroy the fire blocks, then continue across the icy surfaces. At the other side, save if you wish, otherwise go into the next room. There, destroy a couple more fire blocks, then go left and up to the door, and enter it. In that room, go across the ice to the left, then use Captain Wario to swim over the rapid-moving water (if you have the mastery gem, shoot torpedoes at the blocks below so you can reach the chest with the "Odd Lucky Thingie" treasure inside). Jump onto the dry ledge and hop onto the platform with the green stalk. You will notice that the water balloon enemies will float towards you if your back is facing them. Lure them above the stalk, then jump on them to water the plant, causing a beanstalk to grow.

Before you climb it, go into the west room and use Dragon Wario to clear the fire blocks. This will cause the giant ice chunk to fall and disappear, allowing you access to the room above. Go back to the previous room, then switch to Genius Wario to find a hidden passage above. Climb the stalk and crawl into the hidden left passage. In that room, open the green chest to receive another heart on your meter with the Vita Mighty. Come back to this room later and you will find a red chest containing the "Gilded Ice Cream Sandwich". Exit this room and continue up the stalk into the room above. In here, simply go left into that room.

There, head left and jump over the small pit, and make your way to the bottom-left portion of the room. Destroy the four fire blocks as Dragon Wario to reveal a chest; open it to find the "Friendly Clown Autograph" treasure. Climb the ladder and jump onto the ledge with the stalk above. Lure the water enemies above it, then kill one to make the tall stalk grow. Climb to the

Page 14: Wario Master of Disguise

top, then jump to the upper-right ledge and defeat the enemies there. Jump from the small ice platform to the top ledge, and crawl into the next room. Crawl through the passage and use Dragon Wario to clear the fire block, flooding the room below.

Exit this room, then go down and right through the next doorway. Walk across the icy platform and defeat the enemies, then float on the water as Captain Wario. Jump to the next ledge and open the chest to receive the Green Crystal. Go back across the water and climb down the ladder to reach the room below. There, use Dragon Wario to melt the ice to the left blocking the giant ice ball from moving. Stay as Dragon Wario and walk on the thin platform to fall into the room below. In there, defeat the enemies and open the chest to the right to find a "Really Boring Firework".

Head left and use Dragon Wario to destroy the blocks, then climb the stalk to reach the next room. There, go left and climb the ladder, and take the upper path into the previous room. This time, roll the ice ball down the hill to open a hidden path in the ground. Drop into the room below and open the chest to get the Arty Mastery Gem (return later to find a red chest containing a "Crop Circle Pendant"). With it, you can create three boxes on the screen at once, as well as create hearts to replenish your health.

Crawl through the passage, then use Dragon Wario to destroy the fire blocks. Go down and right and through the door to reach the other half of the cave. Climb the ladder to the left, then jump across the platform and enter the right area. Cross the room while avoiding the enemies, then in the following room, jump over the pit and enter the door you see. When you arrive in this new room, save your game via the Wario hat. To proceed, switch to Cosmic Wario and go left. Shoot the large water drop on the ceiling to form ice on the ramp. Wait for the smaller water drop to fall, then slide to the left. If it was done right, you will slide/jump over the gap completely.

At the other side, go into the left room. Water the stalk like you've done in previous rooms, then climb to the top area. Switch to Dragon Wario and walk

Page 15: Wario Master of Disguise

onto the ice so you can climb the ladder. Crawl to the right and jump to the next ledge, then use Dragon Wario's fire breath to defeat the plant on the wall. Then, jump onto the ladder above and climb into a dark room. Switch to Sparky Wario to light the way, then go left and jump to the upper platform. Head right and drop off the other end, and continue to the chest in the bottom corner. Open it to get "Mustache Wax".

Jump to the upper platform and climb into the room above. Get across the center platform and drop down the pit to the right. Back in the dark room, use Dragon Wario to fall through the thin platforms and land in the room below. You will see a series of icy platforms hanging above the water. Jump across them until you can't go any further, then switch to Arty Wario. Stack three boxes in the gap, then become Thief Wario and jump across. Repeat this for the next gap and you will reach the chest. Open it to get the Blue Crystal.

Now, go through the door next to the chest and enter a new room. In there, use Dragon Wario to safely walk up the icy ramp, then jump to the upper ledge. Open the chest there to find "Seductive Lipstick". Head into the right room, then drop down to the lower area. Make your way to the very bottom of the room, then go right. Climb the ladder and use Dragon Wario to clear the stack of blocks, and jump your way to the top-right area. Go through the door there to reach the next room.

In this room, go left and open the chest to find a "Paranoid Bear Carving". Go right and water the stalk by breathing fire on the giant water bubble enemy, then climb to the top area (come back later when you get the Dragon Mastery Gem and break the blue fire blocks to the right, then open the chest in the next room to find the "Bath-Time Shampoo Hat". Hop up the small ledges and go left, then jump into the room above. In here, go right and use Dragon Wario to clear the fire block, dropping the ice chunk through the floor. Go back to the ladder and switch to Cosmic Wario, and shoot the large water drop off the ceiling to form an icy ramp. Then, slide to the right over the large gap. When you land, open the chest to get the Yellow Crystal.

Now that you have all four crystals, you can finally proceed to the boss.

Page 16: Wario Master of Disguise

Drop into the room below and go right, and climb down the ladder to a chest. Open it to find the "Spoiled Child's Pacifier" treasure. As Captain Wario, swim across the water below, then jump to the lower-left area. Go through the door to reach the next room, and make your way downward through that room as well. When you reach the bottom-left door (directly west of the Wario hat), go through it.

Here, go left and drop to the lower platform with another Wario hat save point. Save, then use Arty Wario to create three boxes to act as steps. Hop from them to reach the high ledge above you, and enter that room. Jump into the water and open the chest to get a "Haunted Television". Exit the room and drop to the bottom area, then go into the statue room to the west. Activate the four statues and you will be confronted by Cannoli yet again. After that, you will continue into the boss room, where you must face Carpaccio as the boss.

For this battle, you are inside of a giant water balloon, so to say. You can spin the entire room simply by moving left and right. You will see a yellow switch on one of the four flat surfaces in the center area; your objective is to rotate the room so that the switch is upright, then use Arty Wario to place a box onto the switch. Meanwhile, there will be four small holes moving around the center area, periodically shooting three projectiles in each direction.

Also, two glowing balls will appear in the middle before moving out to your area as giant snowballs. Use Genius Wario to reveal the glowing ball, then use Cosmic Wario's laser to hit it. If you hit the wrong snowball, they will explode and you will take damage. Hitting the switches in the center is what causes this boss damage, so concentrate on turning the room and crushing the switches. The first part will have one switch, the second part will have two, then the last hit will require you to hit four switches. After you crush the third set of switches, you will win the battle and receive the next Wishstone piece!

========================================Episode 5: Picking the Pharaoh's Brains!========================================

When you start, you will be at the top of the pyramid. There will be a bunch of puzzles in this place, mainly relating to unlit torches, which you can use Dragon Wario to light up. Light the middle torch in this first room to unravel a ladder; climb down and push the block down the ramp. At the bottom, use Genius Wario to reveal a hidden door, and go through it. In the next room, climb up the left ladders to reach the third tier. Push the block there to the right and climb up the right ladder to find a chest; open it to get a Pyramid Map.

From the chest, go down one level and push the block to the left. Climb up the other side and enter the room to the left. Use Dragon Wario to destroy the red fire block, then fall through the thin platform. Below, defeat the enemies and light the torch above as Dragon Wario again. Climb down the ladder and collect the heart, and go through the door to the left. In that room, climb your way to the top area. Open the green chest to find the Genius Mastery Gem (come back later to open a new chest containing the "Jigsaw Puzzle Solver"). Now you will be able to use Genius Wario to punch through cracked blocks!

Use Genius Wario and go through the door that appears. Use Dragon Wario to clear the fire block, then fall through the ledges to the bottom area. Find the door with Genius Wario and go into the next room. This time, punch the cracked blocks to the right as Genius Wario and drop into the room below. Head left and jump onto the upper ledges. From the solid one, use Dragon Wario to light the torch over the thin platform. As Thief Wario, jump to the left and enter the dark room.

Light up the room with Sparky Wario and open the chest below to get another Vita Mighty (return later to find a "Fusty Golden Candle" in a red chest here). Exit the room and drop to the ledge below. Light the torch to reveal a ladder; climb down to a chest containing the "Telemarketer's Bane". Exit the room and use Arty Wario to get across the spikes as you head all the way right. Drop through the first two thin platforms as Dragon Wario, but move

Page 18: Wario Master of Disguise

right after you fall through the second one. Switch to Sparky Wario as you enter the room to the right. In there, head all the way right across spike pits, ignoring the door you pass for now. At the end, jump into the room above. Go left and jump to the higher ledge, and open the chest there to receive the "Sandals of Infamy".

Continue to the left, defeating the dog statue enemy, and drop to the lower area. Head into the room to the left and defeat the two enemies as Dragon Wario to make a chest appear. Open it to find the Royal Flail. Fall through the cracked floor to the left, then use Sparky Wario to light up the dark room below. Go right and enter the door you passed up before. In there, make your way to the top area by using Dragon Wario and Genius Wario to make platforms appear. At the very top, use Genius Wario and go through the door that appears. Inside the hidden treasure room, open the chests to find the "Celebrity of the Hour Poster" and "Has-Been Celebrity Photo".

Now, exit this room and drop to the bottom of the previous room. Go through the door at the bottom, then when you're back in the dark room, head left to the large middle room. Drop to the bottom area by using Dragon Wario, and defeat the mummy there. Jump onto the second thin platform and crawl into a hidden room to the right. Use Dragon Wario to light the middle torch, then go across to the chest containing a "Somewhat-Useless Morphing Belt". Get out of this room with Arty Wario, then drop down and go left. Use Arty Wario to stack two boxes so you can crawl into the left area. Defeat two more mummies, then the Royal Flail will allow you to enter the western room.

In this dark room, use Sparky Wario to see the four moving platforms. Hop from two of them to reach the upper ledge with a chest on it. Open it to get the "False Beard of Might". Ride the top platform to the left to cross the spikes, then go down the ladder to reach the next room. There, go down and to the left, and light the torch to make a door appear. Go into that room and save with the Wario hat, then open the chest to receive the "Ab Annihilator".

Exit the room and head right across the spikes. At the far right area, use Genius Wario and go through the hidden door in the corner. Open the chest there to receive the "Formal Salmon Lure", then exit the room. Jump to the thin platform and switch to Dragon Wario, and quickly jump to light the

Page 19: Wario Master of Disguise

torch, revealing another door. Switch to Thief Wario and go into that room. Head right and destroy the fire block with Dragon Wario, then enter the right door.

In here, go left and climb down the ladder. Follow the slope downward, but jump over the middle gap for now. Head up the spiky ramp at the other side and enter the east room. Climb down the ladder and head right. Jump onto the metal ledges and use Dragon Wario to light two torches. Jump onto the moving platform above and light another torch to make a ledge appear overhead. Jump to the second moving platform and go left, lighting a torch by the spikes, and jumping to reach a much higher torch above. Ride the platform moving upward, then switch to Genius Wario and ride the hidden platforms to the right.

In the room to the right, punch through the cracked blocks with Genius Wario to reach a chest containing a "Back Massage Coupon". Climb the ladder and punch through more blocks, then climb into the dark room above. Use Sparky Wario as you cross the spikes and defeat the statue enemy. Open the chest to receive the Royal Silver Medallion. Climb down to exit this room, and go left along the upper path. Use Genius Wario and go through the hidden door that appears at the far left.

When you emerge, use Dragon Wario to break the fire block to your right. Drop to the block below and use Arty Wario to make boxes so you can cross the spikes safely. Use Dragon Wario to light the unlit torch, then ride the moving platform to the left. Jump and light another torch above, and hop onto the second moving platform. In the lower-left corner, destroy the fire block to reveal a chest; open it to get the "Queenly Ear Hair". Then, jump to the upper ledge and go through the door as Genius Wario.

Save with the Wario hat when you emerge, then push the blue fire block aside and fall through as Dragon Wario. Go left and drop into the room below. Use Sparky Wario when you land, and head across the spikes to the left, then enter that room. In there, defeat the two mummies and head left, and light the first torch. Ride the platform upward and light the torch near the peak.

Page 20: Wario Master of Disguise

Jump onto the next platform above the spikes and ride it to the right. Light the next two torches and ride the next vertically-moving platform.

As you head upward, you will see two unlit torches; light the one on the right only to unravel a ladder. Climb onto the top ledge and light the higher unlit torch to make another platform appear. Go across to the upper-left area of this room, and open the chest to receive a "Homework-O-Matic" treasure. Go back across and enter the upper-right room above the ladder. In that room, open the chest to find the Royal Gold Medallion.

Light the torch with Dragon Wario, then use Thief Wario to jump onto the ladder. Climb out of this small alcove, then go right and drop into the pit below. Light up the room with Sparky Wario, and this time, head right across the spikes. In the room with the giant mask, you will be able to proceed since you have the two medallions, after being confronted by Cannoli yet again. In the final room, you will face off against the Pharaoh as the boss of this episode.

The Pharaoh's mask will float around the room while following you. It will stop after a brief period and a blue switch will appear atop his mask. As Cosmic Wario, shoot the switch and his body will appear. Use Genius Wario and you will see five statues rotating around before stopping. Punch them with Genius Wario and the boss's weak spot will be revealed, pointing to his groin. When this happens, quickly become Dragon Wario and breathe fire to cause damage. Use Thief Wario to quickly get away so you avoid getting hit by the Pharaoh's spiky attack.

After you attack the Pharaoh twice, he will become invisible. Use Genius Wario to spot the floating mask and punch the glowing block atop the mask to make him visible again. Then, just repeat the same pattern to win. After the battle, you will find that there is no Wishstone piece here, and the Pharaoh will warp you out of here. After another scene with Cannoli outside the boss room, the episode will end.

==========================================Episode 6: A Flower That's Drunk Up Power!==========================================

Starting off in the ruins, head into the west room. In here, you will see a

Page 21: Wario Master of Disguise

couple of rectangular blocks on the ceiling with a slightly different color; if you run below them, they will fall after a short pause, so remember this as it will be rather useful elsewhere in this stage. In the following room, Goodstyle will point out the giant waterfall in the background. For now you can't do much about it, so head down the hill and into the bottom-left room.

Go left in this room and defeat the spiky flower enemies as Dragon Wario, then go into the left room. Quickly run to the left and open the chest to find the Ancient Waterworks Map. Go back to the right and jump over the first fallen platform to trigger the second one to fall. Jump to the upper ledge and switch to Genius Wario, then punch through the cracked blocks and head into the west room.

There, you will see two water drops falling from the ceiling at regular intervals, destroying the blocks directly below it when they fall. Drop to the bottom area by taking advantage of this, as well as using Dragon Wario to clear the fire blocks. At the bottom, push the blue fire block to the left, then drop to the bottom area. Switch to Cosmic Wario and shoot the blue switch through the narrow opening, then become Thief Wario and enter the left room that just opened up. Open the chest inside to collect the Floodgate Seal. Exit the room, then go right and enter the door there.

In the new room, jump onto the upper platform and go left, triggering the four ledges above to fall one at a time. Crawl through the passage below, then jump up the newly-formed steps. Continue going upward, hopping up a series of small ledges on the left side. At the top, go right through a hidden passage. When you reach the single thin platform, use Dragon Wario to fall through, then crawl into the next room. Fall down and destroy the fire block, and open the chest to receive a "Mighty Trucker Panda". Then, switch to Thief Wario and get out of this room. Jump back to the upper path and enter the right room the regular way.

Make your way through this room by triggering the ledges to fall, and getting onto the high ledges with Arty Wario's help. At the end, go through the door to reach the next room. Defeat the spiky flower enemies with Dragon Wario, then destroy the fire blocks above and climb the ladder. Head right and upward through this room until you reach a seemingly dead end. Use Genius Wario to reveal a hidden switch; punch it and use Dragon Wario to fall

Page 22: Wario Master of Disguise

through the ledges, then go left while the gate is still open. Become Thief Wario again and climb the ladder, then unlock the door with your first key.

In here, go left and defeat the spiky flower enemy. Use Arty Wario and put a box in that corner, then switch to Thief Wario and crawl into the hidden left room. Drop into the water and open the chest to get the "Scary Bug in Amber". Use Captain Wario to get out of the water, then exit the room. Make your way upward once again after the ledges fall from above. When you reach the ledge below the blue star block, use Genius Wario to reveal a hidden passage to the right. Crawl through and open the chest to receive the "North Pole Ice Cubes". Get back out and jump to the top area, then dash through the plant enemies and enter the next room.

In the next room, use Dragon Wario to fall into the water, where you should then switch to Captain Wario. Swim to the right ledge and open the chest there to find the Cosmic Mastery Gem (come back later to find a red chest containing the "Young Socialite's Scarf" here). This will allow your lasers to bounce off walls. Become Thief Wario and fall into the strong water current below, then at the other side, jump onto the ledges above. Use Cosmic Wario to bounce lasers off the ceiling panels and hit the blue switch behind the wall. Then, climb the ladder that appears to enter the room above. There, go left and push the statue into the water current to partially stop the waterfall.

Before you leave, use Genius Wario to reveal a hidden path above, so jump to the high ledge and open the chest. Collect the Torrent Seal, then climb back down to the previous room. Jump into the water and hop onto the lower right ledge. Open the door with the seal you just obtained to continue onward. In the large waterfall room, climb down the short ladder and land on the ledge below. Drop to the left ledge and enter the west room from here.

Quickly head to the left before the ledges fall from above. Don't jump onto the upper ledge though; instead, crawl through a lower passage (use Genius Wario as you enter the room if you can't find it). When you emerge, go through the door to reach the next area. There, head right to find a gate

Page 23: Wario Master of Disguise

blocking your path. Shoot the switch with Cosmic Wario to open it, then move just to the right of where the gate is. Reflect another laser shot off the three diagonal corner panels to hit the switch again, blocking your way out.

Continue right as Thief Wario and enter the next room. There, quickly jump your way across while avoiding the acid drops falling from above. At the end, go into the right room and save via the Wario hat. Climb the ladder and crawl through the passage to the right, and enter that door. In there, use Genius Wario and punch the switch to move the gates in the wall. Climb the ladder into the room above, where you will find a chest; open it to receive the "Seven-Leaf Clover".

Go through the door to the left, then drop to the lower area and climb down the ladder to reach the save point again. From here, go back to the west room. Run/jump your way through here again, but take the lower path into the next room at the end. Follow the bottom path to a chest containing the Cataract Seal, which is your third key. Climb the ladder and crawl to the door, then exit this room. Crawl back to the right and continue to the waterfall room yet again. Jump upward and to the right across a series of crumbling platforms, then defeat the hanging plant enemy and unlock the door with your seal key.

In the next room, climb the ladder and enter the room above it. Jump into a hidden passage in the ceiling, and push a statue to the left until it falls. Drop onto it and crawl to the right, then push the statue left so it blocks off more of the waterfall. Then, go through the nearby door. Open the chest in the right corner and collect a "Booby-Trapped Magnet Car". Go through the door, then return so you reset the room. Now, head all the way to the far left as quickly as you can before the acid burns away all the blocks. Crawl through the opening to the left and enter the door there.

Go right and push the blue fire block to the left. Use Genius Wario to find the hidden path above the door, then jump up there and push the statue to the right. When it falls, get to the left side and push the statue right so it blocks off the waterfall entirely. Now, go left and crawl through a hidden path, and climb down the ladder into the room below. Go down and right to

Page 24: Wario Master of Disguise

reach the large waterfall room once again. This time, simply drop all the way to the bottom, and enter the bottom-left room. Go all the way left through this room into the following one, defeating the spiky flowers along the way.

In here, trigger the ledges to fall, then hop up them to reach the upper-left room. In the room with the acid drops, make your way downward as they destroy the different floors. Use Dragon Wario to clear the fire blocks, then enter the lower-right room when you get to it. In there, use Cosmic Wario to reflect a laser and hit the switch, unraveling a ladder. Climb downward and save with the Wario hat, then go into the next room. There, drop to the lower area and head into the lower-left room. When you enter, go all the way left across the water with Captain Wario and open the chest to find a "Vengeful Robot Controller".

Go across this plant-filled room and continue into the far left room. There, use Cosmic Wario and jump/shoot the laser through the narrow opening to the left. Switch to Thief Wario and hop up the falling ledges to reach the high chest. Open it to get the Waterfall Basin Seal. Drop off the ledge and head back to the previous room. Then, continue into the following room to the right. Defeat the spiky flower and jump to the second platform, then use Cosmic Wario to shoot the switch overhead. Jump onto the falling platform to the right, then shoot the switch above and to the left. Switch to Thief Wario and jump from that platform over the stack of blue fire blocks.

At the other side, climb the ladder and follow the hidden path to the upper-left area. Once there, use Cosmic Wario and reflect a laser to the switch on the right ledge. Get across to the middle area and defeat the spiky flower, then hit another switch. Use Thief Wario to jump to the right ledge with the chest containing a "Starfish Ladybug" treasure. From here, drop to the ledge directly below and repeat the process to get over the blue fire blocks. Then, head into the east room.

In here, hop your way across the sinking platforms and defeat the spiky flower in the middle area. At the end, continue into the following room. You

Page 25: Wario Master of Disguise

will find a seesaw in here, which can be used to launch yourself to higher ground. Before jumping onto the seesaw, jump into the water and use Captain Wario to head right. At the far end, open the chest to receive the "Fully Automated Pinwheel" treasure. Now, go back to the seesaw and stand on the left side. Use Arty Wario to draw a box high above the right end. After you draw the box, quickly switch back to Thief Wario so you can move, and land on the upper-right ledge. Save with the Wario hat, then jump to the left and enter that room.

In here, use Captain Wario to swim against the current and reach the left ledge. Head into the next room by using the final key in your inventory. In the large waterfall room, go to the seesaw and stand on the right end. Use Arty Wario to drop a box on the left end to catapult yourself (switch to Thief Wario as soon as you make the box). On the ledge with the big door, use Arty Wario to stack two boxes to form steps leading to the right. Jump from them to the high right ledge, where you will find a chest containing the "Fanny Armor".

Drop to the ledge directly below you and enter the right room by crawling through a hidden passage. Open the chest in this room to find the "Brilliant Bug" treasure. Exit the room and go left to the large door, and enter it. You will meet the giant flower boss which is holding the next Wishstone piece here.

The giant flower will float around the room while four blue switches rotate around it. Periodically, smaller plant enemies will be dropped to the ground for you to fight. The idea here is to use Cosmic Wario and shoot the switches in such a way that your shot will reflect off the switch and hit the boss immediately afterward. Do this for all four switches, then switch to Dragon Wario. The flower will turn red and float around in a ball before unraveling and dropping bombs on you. When it opens up, shoot fire at it.

After a while, it will fly high in the air and an onscreen prompt will tell you to chase it. So, get onto a seesaw and use Arty Wario to drop a box on the other end, then quickly switch to Dragon Wario and land on the upper ledge. From your high perch, breathe fire on the boss and it will take damage. You will then have to follow it to the lower area and continue hitting it with fire until it flies high above again. Do this a total of three times and you will win the fight, as well as the Wishstone piece! After

Page 26: Wario Master of Disguise

a scene with Cannoli, you will also know where to head next, as well.

======================================Episode 7: Fouling up the Whole Works!======================================

When you arrive at the Sweatmore Peak, you will be met by a mysterious girl who warns you of the lava ahead. She mentions finding the special pants so you can survive the high temperatures. When you have control, go right and ignore the fire blocks for now. In the next couple of rooms, make your way to the right while defeating the enemies you meet along the way. When you reach the purple chest in the third room, open it to get the Sweatmore Hotpants. These will allow you to walk in the lava without taking damage; beware of the fish though, since they can eat your pants and you will pretty much die from that. Luckily you can defeat them, so it's just a matter of paying attention.

Jump onto the upper ledge and crawl through to a hidden room to the east. There, defeat the enemies and open the chest to get a Vita Mighty. If you leave and reenter the room, you can open a new chest containing "Spooky Haunted Seaweed". Exit the room and open the red chest that appeared in place of the purple one to find the "Amazing Massage Chair". Please note also that if you lose your hotpants, you can return here and the purple chest will reappear. Anyway, head back west until you reach the red fire blocks. Use Dragon Wario to break them, then switch to Thief Wario and jump into the lava.

In the next area, you will see your first Snackerel (the fish that will eat your protective pants). Avoid them or use Cosmic Wario to kill them, then go into the next area. Here, go right and drop to the lower area, being careful not to get hit by the lava blasts that hop out of certain parts of the ground (as designated by bubbles). Open the chest between them to get a "Nifty Wario Poster". Wait for the second set to shoot, then quickly jump up the step formation and go down the other side to a green chest containing the Captain Mastery Gem (leave/reenter the room and a red chest containing the "Forbidden Cheat Sheet" will be here). Now you can use a submarine and shoot torpedoes to destroy blocks and attack enemies!

Page 27: Wario Master of Disguise

With this new ability, switch to Captain Wario and backtrack to the far west really quick. When you reach the room where you first jumped into the lava, you will see a stack of blocks to the left; shoot through them and enter that area. Open the chest in the back corner to find the "Cutie-Pie Hypno Specs". Now, head back east to the step formation where you found the mastery gem. Shoot the steps to open up a hole, then go down into the room below.

Here, head left and shoot through more urchin enemies and stacked blocks. Avoid the falling lava (it falls in sets of two) as you pass through, then continue into the room ahead. Make your way downward through the next room while avoiding more falling lava balls. Along the way down you will see two cracked blocks in the left wall; shoot through them and enter that room.

Make your way downward through here by going around the rotating lava bars. When you reach the bottom room, you will have to deal with much more intense lava which will damage you. Quickly open the chest below to get the Sweatmore Superhotpants. That way, you can go through the more intense lava safely. If you leave and return to this room, you can open the red chest in its place to receive the "Train Window Painting".

With the upgraded hotpants, head back up the shaft above and into the right room at the top. There again, continue making your way downward. At the bottom, open the chest to get a ""Rare" Collectable Figurine". Then, shoot through the blocks and enter the right room. There, go right and save with the Wario hat. Head upward past the rotating lava bars and shoot through two blocks in the upper-left wall. Go against the current and open the chest in that alcove to get the Sweatmore Peak Map. Quickly exit the alcove and go right, shooting through a bunch of blocks in the wall. Open the chest there to get the "Hilarity Machine".

In the bottom-right area of this same room, you can find another chest containing the "Titanium Chef Hands". After that, go through the hidden path in the right wall to reach the next room. There, simply go downward into the following room. In here, head left and defeat all the fish so you don't run

Page 28: Wario Master of Disguise

the risk of dying. Shoot the blocks surrounding a switch, then hit it to open a gate below. Now, backtrack all the way to the lower-left portion of the map to the room where you found the superhotpants.

Once you get to that room, you will see that a wave of lava balls are shot through the long horizontal corridor periodically. Make your way to the right, ducking into the alcoves when the lava balls are coming. Defeat the fish along the way and continue into the next room. In the next room, go through the gate and make your way past the sets of lava balls when it's safe.

When you reach the following room, defeat some more fish and avoid the lava ball waves coming from the ceiling and floor. To the right, you will see that the ceiling opens up, allowing you to move upward. For now though, continue to the right and head through a hidden passage in the wall to reach the next room on your map. In there, defeat the single fish enemy and open the chest to receive a "Failed Teenage Romance Diary". After that, exit the room.

This time, go through the wide opening in the ceiling and begin your ascent through this cave. Avoid the streams of lava balls as you make your way to the top. Once you reach the top, go into the right room. There, shoot through the blocks to reach a chest containing the "Rich Man's Ice Cream". Save your game with the Wario hat, then shoot through to the right and enter the boss room. In there, you will have to deal with a giant statue head as the boss.

To defeat this giant head, you need to first drain the room. There are three statues on the ground; use Captain Wario to torpedo them all, draining the room entirely. With the room drained, the boss will drop five bombs on you. Use Genius Wario and punch them at the statue head to temporarily stun it. At that point, a toilet will appear. Use Arty Wario and draw poo (make a simple dash or something not box or heart-shaped). If done correctly, a heart will come out of its mouth; use Thief Wario and dash into it twice to cause damage. Do this whole process a total of three times to win the fight.

=========================================

Episode 8: When Dolphins Ruled the Earth!=========================================

Starting off in this haunted castle, head right into the next area. In the second room, you will see some transparent enemies floating around. You will find special switches throughout the castle which will make blocks appear and disappear, as well as the enemies in the background. For now, continue onto the crumbling bridge and sink into the water. Use Captain Wario and swim into the lower-right room. There, open the chest on the ledge to get the "Fool's Candy".

Exit this room the same way you came in, and surface above. Then, go into the right room. In this room, you will find the first hidden door which will disappear after a short period of time, so you will need to act quickly in here. Use Genius Wario to find the hidden path below, then use Cosmic Wario to activate the special switch in the wall. Then, quickly climb the ladder and jump on the blue blocks to reach the gray door on the ledge. In that room, open the chest to receive the "Sassy Wig".

Back in the previous room, go down a slight bit and enter the west room. Quickly head to the left until you reach the blocks, then shoot upward with Cosmic Wario to hit the switch. Get to the other side and shoot the switch through the diagonal opening, then go through the door while it's still visible. Inside, crawl to the chest and collect the "Lucky Love Toast", then exit the room.

Hit the switch and get to the right side of the flames, then shoot upward to revert the switch yet again. Go into the right room, then this time, jump to the top area and enter the upper-left room. Go left and defeat the ghosts if you want (use Cosmic Wario's laser), and avoid the poisonous gas spurts. Open the chest at the end to find the "Sweet & Spicy Pastries". Head back out of this room, then drop down a few ledges and take the second path leading west. In the lower portion of this room now, go left until you reach the blue blocks. Use Cosmic Wario and shoot directly upward to hit the switch. Run to the other side and enter the next room. There, open the chest to get a "Scary Mr. Bunny" treasure.

Page 30: Wario Master of Disguise

Exit the room, then shoot the switch through the diagonal opening above. Use Thief Wario and return to the west room, and crawl through the opening atop the block to reach the following room. Continue through this next room while dealing with the ghosts and poison gas. In the following room, use Cosmic Wario to reflect a laser so it hits the switch, lower the elevator. Stand on the elevator and press Up to make it move. Save on the ledge if you want, then get to the very top of the room. Once there, go right into the next room.

In here, quickly jump/climb your way to the top area. Once there, stand to the left and bounce a laser off the sloped corner of the ceiling to hit the switch at the other side. Once the blocks vanish, use Arty Wario to make your own box, then use Thief Wario to jump to the door and enter it. In that room, crawl and climb around to the chest containing the "Game & Watch 9000". Use Arty Wario to stack boxes so you can jump out of this room.

Back in the previous room, drop to the ledge below and crawl through a hidden hole in the left wall to reach a new area. There, use Dragon Wario to clear the red blocks, then open the chest to find a "Clever Sidekick". Crawl back to the previous room and reflect a laser to activate the switch, then go back into the west room. Take the upper path and destroy the block, then climb the ladder and go into the right room. Use Sparky Wario to get across this dark room, then open the chest at the far side to get the Sparky Mastery Gem (leave/reenter the room and a chest containing "Tiger Underwear of Doom" will appear here).

From here, go left and drop down the pit to reach the room below. There, go directly to the right into another room. There, defeat the dolphin guards (they can take a beating, but your best bet is to continuously attack with Sparky Wario). After you beat all three, a chest containing the Lower Key will appear. Take the key and go back to the darkened west room. Go left and climb down the ladder, then unlock the door there.

In the next room, quickly drop to the lower area and go right acorss the crumbling platforms. Enter the door and open the chest inside that room to

Page 31: Wario Master of Disguise

get the "Kneecap Guards". Use Captain Wario to exit the room, then go up the ladder and use Cosmic Wario to hit the switches above so the platforms appear in the air. Get to the other side, then enter the following room. In there, go down the ladder and avoid the ghosts, then enter the lower-left area. Climb down the ladder in this small section to reach the following room.

Defeat the dolphin with an afro, then use Dragon Wario to clear the red fire block above. Use Cosmic Wario to hit the switch, then switch to Thief Wario and head into the next room. Shoot the switch in the lower alcove, then crawl through the space. Ignore the gases and head left, jumping over the stack of blocks so you reach the door in time. Enter the door and defeat the dolphin in the room, then exit. Use Arty Wario to place a box to the left below the crawlspace, then use Thief Wario and crawl through.

In the following room, jump to the high ledge and open the chest to find the Upper Key. Drop to the ground and go back into the right room, then crawl through the opening and shoot the ceiling switch to remove the blocks. Use Arty Wario and crawl through the left passage, and enter the left room once again. This time, climb the ladder and save via the Wario hat. Then, drop to the lower segment and go into the left room. Drop into the water and switch to Captain Wario, then enter the lower-right room. Shoot through the cracked blocks and open the chest at the end to get the Castle Map.

Now, go back to the room with the save point. Once there, climb the ladder and go into the upper-left room. Climb your way to the top of this area, then use Cosmic Wario to bounce a laser off the ceiling and hit the switch. Next, crawl through the hidden passage in the left wall. In the next room, use Dragon Wario to clear the blocks, then climb the ladder and go into the next room ahead. In the dark room, go right and drop down the pit, then continue right into the next room.

You should now be in the room that's glowing orange on your map. Get past the dolphin guards and unlock the door so you can progress forward. In this new room, shoot the switches to make platforms appear (five total), then jump up

Page 32: Wario Master of Disguise

them to reach the upper ledge. Avoid the poisonous gas, then switch to Thief Wario and enter the next room. In there, shoot the switch above with Cosmic Wario, then go right out of this room. Drop to the lower area and enter the room to the right. Jump over the right wall and sink in the water to reach a hidden room below. Down there, open the chest to receive the "Rare Gem Cereal".

Use Captain Wario to get back to the surface atop the shaft. Go into the left room and make your way to the top of the room with the blocks and poisonous gas. Step into the upper-left room and shoot the switch above, then leave and reenter the room so the blocks will be set in place. Quickly go left and jump on the block floating in the air, then crawl through the upper-right passage. Go up the steps and use Arty Wario to put a box on top of the one in the air, as well as on the steps so you can jump from it. Use Thief Wario and jump onto the stack, then crawl into the middle area and enter the final door (this is optional).

Defeat the enemies in that room, then exit. From here, drop to the bottom area of the room and head left. Use Genius Wario to spot a hidden passage; crawl through it and open the chest to receive the "Super Mega Trump Card". Get back to the door you exited from a moment ago, and use Arty Wario to reach the crawl spaces on either side to exit, then head into the right room. Jump across all the blocks and use Dragon Wario to clear the stack of red fire blocks. Avoid the statue's fire, then jump over and open the chest to receive the Wandering Soul. Head back out of this room, then make your way to the far left side with the help of Arty Wario.

In the western room, stand on the elevator platform and use Arty Wario to place a box on the switch on the ledge above. At the other side, go left and enter the next room. There, shoot the switch directly above to remove the blocks and ghosts, then get to the left side and activate the switch again. Defeat the ghosts and jump your way to the upper half of the room. Kill the rest of the ghosts, and use Genius Wario to locate the hidden switch above. Shoot it with Cosmic Wario, then use Arty Wario to reach the ledge with the Wario hat.

Page 33: Wario Master of Disguise

After you save your game, jump to the top of the room. Open the chest there to get the "Heartfelt Hotcakes", then drop to the ledges below and enter the right room. Use Cosmic Wario to hit the switches above and jump across the ledges that appear. At the other side, go into the next room. You will see a blue flame up ahead, blocking your progress. The girl from earlier will appear and tell you that it's full of spirits. The soul you found before will join them and you will be able to continue. In the next room, you will be confronted by Cannoli, who will make you fight the king dolphin boss across the next three rooms. As a quick note, if you fall into the water in any of the boss rooms, you'll have to start the entire fight over again.

In the first room, you will have two platforms with a switch on each platform. Both switches make a thin platform appear between the two for a brief period of time (you can tell when the switch is about to be depressed by watching the blinking red lights below it). The dolphin will swim around below, periodically jumping out on alternate sides to shoot at you. Jump on its head whenever it emerges, and it will shoot a miniature dolphin in the air to attack you (shoot it down with Cosmic Wario). After three stomps to the head, the dolphin will jump in the air. Hit the switch so it gets stuck on the middle platform, then use Genius Wario to punch it. Punch it a couple times, then quickly jump to the other switch to keep the middle platform up. After several hits, the dolphin will go to the next room.

For room two, there will be a platform in the middle with spikes on the wall to the right. The dolphin will again swim around, emerging periodically to shoot projectiles and mini-dolphins in the air. Jump on it each time it emerges. After three hits, the dolphin will jump over the middle platform. When this is about to happen, use Genius Wario and face the right. When the dolphin flies past, punch it into the spikes. When it bounces back, punch it again a couple more times until it falls back into the water. Do this twice to continue onward.

For the last part of the room, you will have a single platform with a switch on it (it will stay depressed if you stand on it continuously), which

Page 34: Wario Master of Disguise

triggers a gate above. The dolphin will go about its usual pattern, so jump on its head three separate times like before. This time, when the dolphin jumps in the air, use Genius Wario and stand on the switch to open the gate. Punch the dolphin and it will go around the loop of the room. When it comes back around, but just before it falls back into the water, punch it around again. Do this whole process three times in here to defeat the dolphin.

===============================================Episode 9: More Shocking Than the Next Episode?===============================================

At the start of the episode, you will finally learn the name of the girl who has been following you, Tiaramisu. When she leaves, head right into the next area. In there, jump to the second ledge and use Arty Wario to place a box to the right of the two blue fire blocks. As Thief Wario, jump onto the box you created and push the top blue fire block to the left so you can proceed. Jump to the ledge above with a single blue fire block on it. Push the block slightly to the left, then jump onto it and through a hidden passage in the ceiling to the upper area. When you land, go into the east room.

Jump up the first three ledges and you will see a black block in the left wall. Walk through it to enter a secret room. Inside, open the chests to receive the Dragon Mastery Gem (allows you to burn through blue fire blocks, finally) and the "Crazy Delicious Bamboo" treasure (come back to this room later and a red chest containing a "Shooting Star Chunk" will replace the green chest). Back in the previous room, jump to the upper ledge and stack two boxes with Arty Wario, then use Dragon Wario to clear the blue fire blocks overhead. Once they're gone, use Thief Wario to jump up there and continue onward.

In the next room, you will be confronted by Cannoli once more, and you will have to do battle with him. Cannoli hovers towards you, stopping periodically to punch at you. Run a distance away from him, then when you see Cannoli rocketing towards you, simply squat down so he moves over you. When he stops briefly with his back towards you, use Genius Wario and punch the switch on his back, then jump on Cannoli's exposed head with Thief Wario. Do this three times to win.

Page 35: Wario Master of Disguise

After defeating Cannoli, you will be able to continue inside, so head right. You will enter the first battery charging room (remember this location) here. There will be four panels you can stand in front of; use Sparky Wario's ability to charge each panel. This will allow you to activate yellow switches in the next several rooms up to eight times before you have to come back and recharge (how many charges you have left will be designated by a 8-square box in the background in the right side of this room and in other rooms). Either way, charge up all four panels and save your game, then enter the right room.

Step on the switch here and the elevator will activate, moving you upward. Beware of the electrical currents on your way up, stepping off the switch to stop the elevator if needed (each press uses up one of your eight charges, keep that in mind). At the top, go into the west room. In here, hit the left switch to open up the left hovering platform, then crawl into the next room. Defeat the robot enemy, then stand in the right side of the room as Cosmic Wario. Shoot a laser upward at the diagonal corner to bounce it through a hidden passage in the ceiling, eventually hitting the left switch. When the left gate opens, ignore that room for now. Instead, stand on the thin platform and use Dragon Wario to fall through.

As soon as you fall into the dark room below, quickly switch back to Thief Wario so you can land on a thin ledge. Use Sparky Wario and head right, jumping onto the hidden platform above so you can reach the green chest containing the Wicked Guise Gem (come back later and you can open a red chest containing the "Small Handheld Toilet"). Now you can fly upward with your new disguise. Head right and step on the switch to light up the room, then use Thief Wario to jump over the wall to find another chest containing the Laboratory Map.

From here, go left and use Dragon Wario to fall back into the first charging room. Recharge the electrical panels, but this time, use Wicked Wario and fly upward through the thin section of the ceiling on the left side. Fly all the way upward through the dark room, into the room with the switch you shot at before. Now, go left through the open gate into a new area. Go left and stand

Page 36: Wario Master of Disguise

on the thin platform, then use Dragon Wario to fall through. As soon as you fall through the top platform, quickly switch back to Thief Wario to avoid hitting the spikes.

At the bottom, jump onto the thin platform next to the elevator, and use Wicked Wario to fly directly upward to the top area. Up there, go left into another hidden room. Defeat the enemies inside and open the chests to receive the "Handy Scrub Brush" and the "Superultramega Drill". Leave this room, then hit the switch and open the gate leading into the following room. In here, you will see three numbered switches throughout the room. Use Arty Wario and place a box on each switch, in order, to open the gate ahead. Go through the opening and climb up to a chest containing the Voltage-Proof Coil, which will prevent you from being electrocuted by the currents scattered around the level (like when you went up the first elevator earlier).

With this coil in hand, climb back down to the lower area and use Dragon Wario to fall through the thin floor. In the room you land in, switch back to Thief Wario and jump into the shaft to the right. Hold right so you can land on a ledge with a chest on it. Open said chest to find a Vita Mighty (come back later and a red chest containing the "Spangly Celebrity Garb" will be here). Drop to the very bottom, then go right and you will enter the next room. In here, you will find the second battery charging station (remember this room as well), which will charge up the blue switches located throughout the level. Charge up the four panels, then save your game and go into the right room.

Step on the first blue switch, then switch to Cosmic Wario and ride the platform upward. You will see two switches; quickly hit them both to open the gate above. Go right at the top and ride the next platform downward while activating more sets of switches with Cosmic Wario's laser. When you reach the spikes, jump to the third platform and repeat the process again. At the top, grab the heart and step on the switch to open a floor gate ahead. Drop to the lower area and step on another floor switch, then climb the ladder and enter the left room.

In this room, defeat the robot enemy and clear the blue fire blocks with

Page 37: Wario Master of Disguise

Dragon Wario so you can reach the chest containing an "Itchy Top Hat". Step on the first blue switch to open a gate, then go left and use Dragon Wario to fall through the thin floor and land in the water. Use Captain Wario to get through the narrow passage to the left half of the room. Switch to Arty Wario and place a box on the submerged floor switch to the right to raise the water level. Use Captain Wario to get to the top area, then climb into the room above.

In the dry room above, save your game and jump to the upper ledge. Hop upward on the three moving platforms, then enter the upper-right room. Defeat the bouncing robot enemy, then step on the blue switch and enter the next room. There, make your way to the far right end of the room (the switches you see are optional). When you reach the rightmost ledge, step on that switch to clear a wall in the room below. Head back left two rooms, then drop to the lower ledge and enter the lower-right room this time (as a note, if you need to recharge the blue switches, you can go through a hidden passage in the left wall to reach the tall shaft room, then drop down and go right into the charging room).

In the lower-right room (from the room with the three moving platforms, step on the first blue switch. Now, use Genius Wario and you will see the motion sensors in the ceiling. If you trip one, the gates will close and you will have to hit the switch again. Get to the end without tripping the lines and you will reach a chest containing the Wicked Mastery Gem, which allows you to fly in any direction. Come back here later and a red chest containing the "Ugly Pricey Furniture" will replace the green one.

Now, exit this room and jump onto the first moving platform. When it reaches the left side, walk through the hidden passage in the wall to reach the tall shaft room. Use Wicked Wario and fly into the room above here. Back here, climb the ladder and hit the blue switch to open the second gate, then fly through the opening with Wicked Wario and enter the room above.

Land on the ledge above and run into the western room first. Get across the room by hitting the blue and yellow switches and riding the platforms they

Page 38: Wario Master of Disguise

activate. Use Wicked Wario to cross the spikes at the end (or the entire room if you don't want to go back and recharge), and climb into the room above at the end. Up here, make your way to the right side of the room, and hit the yellow switch to make a ladder unravel. Climb the ladder above, then head left and step on the blue switch, and use Arty Wario to put a box on the unreachable yellow one.

Climb into the room above and defeat the two bouncing enemies. Then, open the chest to grab the Dynamite. Climb down to the previous room and head all the way right. When you reach the gate, use Arty Wario and put a box on the blue switch, then go into that room as Thief Wario. In there, open the two chests to find the "Amazing Garlic Clove" and the "Lovely Pink Nightie". Head back into the room to the left and you will come to a thin platform. Fall straight down with Dragon Wario, then fall down through another platform marked as dangerous in the background.

When you finally land in the room with the numbered switches, head to the right side and use Wicked Wario to reach the room above. Now, go right through the hall and save at the Wario hat. You will reach a wall ahead which can only be destroyed with dynamite, which you found before. Use it and enter the next room where you will meet up with Cannoli and Carpaccio. This time around, Carpaccio will challenge you to a race through an obstacle-filled course, since using brute force hasn't worked previously.

Please note that you won't have much time to think your plan over. However, you CAN use Arty Wario to place blocks in Carpaccio's way, allowing you more time to get ahead. If you lose the race, you will be able to try again, so you will be able to win by sheer practice. Anyway, in the first room, go right and use Arty Wario to make 2 boxes, then jump on them and crawl through a passage in the wall. Use Cosmic Wario to shoot through the blue balls, then continue to the second room.

Go past the blue fire blocks and drop to the lower ledge. Go left and use Dragon Wario to fall through to the lower tier. When you land, destroy the blue fire block and fall through the ledges to the right of it. Fall through the first ledge only, then go left and fall through the last one. At the bottom, go left and jump to the upper ledge with Thief Wario and enter the

Page 39: Wario Master of Disguise

next room.

There, use Captain Wario and dive to the bottom area, shooting two torpedoes to clear the blocks. Move left while staying at the bottom so you can pass through a hidden passage. At the other side, follow the strong currents pointing to the left, then surface at the end and jump onto dry land before continuing. In the final room, use Arty Wario and place a box next to the blue fire one below. Then, use Genius Wario and crawl across the boxes into the right alcove. Punch the switch and crawl back out, then use Arty Wario to draw a poo on the block, destroying it. Finally, fly up the left shaft with Wicked Wario to end the race.

If you made it to the end first, you will win the fourth Wishstone piece. The episode will then end at this point.

==================================Final Episode: The Final Face-Off!==================================

The episode opens with the scene at the end of Carpaccio's laboratory. He will vanish and Cannoli will run into the next area, leaving you to follow him. Once outside, Cannoli will urge you to go after Carpaccio and find the final Wishstone piece before he does. You will now have control of Wario; start by using Wicked Wario to fly onto a ledge high above, where you will find a chest containing the "Prince Redleg Pantaloon". Then, drop to the lower area and head into the east area. There, defeat all the robots and climb into the room above.

You will now be in a room with two locked doors and a large door above. Carpaccio will steal the gem from the large door before running off. After he runs off, you will have to find a way to retrieve the crimson gem. There is one last thing that needs to be noted about the rooms in this episode, which are the colored mushrooms. There are green, red, and blue mushrooms. All of the green ones in an area need to be pressed to open the door leading to the next area; blue mushrooms reset all the other mushrooms you already pressed; red mushrooms may activate other devices within the area. Some mushrooms may also be invisible, meaning you need to use Genius Wario (and in some cases his punch ability as well) to find them.

Page 40: Wario Master of Disguise

Anyway, there are four green mushrooms in this room you need to activate (three are readily visible, but the fourth one is on the upper-left ledge and can be seen with Genius Wario). After you hit them all, go through the green door to reach the next room. There, go left and fly over the spiked slope with Wicked Wario, and drop into the room below. In this room, jump on the three small green mushrooms on the various ledges. On the upper-right ledge, use Arty Wario and place one box in the right corner, then crawl through the hidden passage and punch the large mushroom on the wall as Genius Wario. Before you continue, use Wicked Wario and fly onto a ledge on the left side via a hidden passage and enter the door on that ledge.

You will end up in a room with a giant portrait of Tiaramisu in the center. Save with the Wario hat below, then go left. Stack two boxes with Arty Wario, then jump on them and use Cosmic Wario to shoot to the left, reflecting a laser to hit the switch below. When the floor opens up below, drop down and open the three chests to receive the "Freaky Cat Glasses", "Nostalgic Memory Picture", and the "Ears of Sanguineness" treasures. Then, jump back out and exit this room. Now, drop to the bottom area (don't hit the blue one) and enter the green door to the right.

In the room you emerge in, first jump and hit the blocks overhead to make a hole. Use Wicked Wario to fly to the upper area, where you will find a chest on each side containing the Allergia Gardens Map and the "Fishin' Hole Fishin' Pole". Drop to the door below and use Genius Wario to reveal a hidden room to the left. Fly onto that ledge with Wicked Wario, then use Genius Wario and punch the green mushroom on the wall. Then, drop to the ground and defeat the robots before heading into the west room. In here, stack two boxes with Arty Wario, then jump atop them and use Genius Wario to hit the green wall mushroom. To the left, you can use Genius Wario to reveal a set of directions hidden on the wall (right, left, right, right, left). Remember this for you will need them shortly.

Anyway, continue into the next room to the left. Here, you will see a device with two platforms which will rotate the device left or right depending on which ledge you step on. Hop on them in the same order as the directions listed above, and a ladder will unravel above. Ignore it for now and go into

Page 41: Wario Master of Disguise

the left room. In this spike-filled room, use Arty Wario to place a box on the green mushroom to press it. Then, go back to the previous room and climb the ladder.

At the top, defeat the robots and you will see two blue switches on each side of the room. Use Cosmic Wario to reflect lasers against the walls to hit the switches, clearing the vines above them. Hit the three green mushrooms and the door will finally turn green, so head to the middle area and go through it. In the new room, go left and use Arty Wario to put a box on the red mushroom above. Pass through the opening and put another box on the second mushroom, then use Thief Wario and enter the next room.

Here, drop through the thin platforms as Dragon Wario, then defeat the rats and hit the green mushroom. Use Arty Wario to put a box on the red mushroom to the right, then take note of the directions on the wall (blue right, red left, red left, blue left, red right). Switch to Thief Wario and jump back up the thin ledges. At the top, go right through the opening as Wicked Wario and fly to the right. Land on the green mushroom in the middle of the spike pit, and get to the right side.

Use Arty Wario and stack two boxes against the right wall, then crawl through the hidden opening. Use Genius Wario and step on the green mushroom, and hit the visible red mushroom. Wait for the blocks you made to clear, then crawl back left through a lower opening. Continue heading downward by using Dragon Wario to fall through the thin ledge. Defeat the rats and step on the last green mushroom below, then go through the green door.

You will end up in a room with four falling blocks with spikes under them above. Use Genius Wario to find the fake one and stand under it to avoid taking damage. Use Dragon Wario to clear the blue fire blocks to the right, then use Arty Wario to press the green mushroom to the right. When the spike blocks are done falling, quickly use Arty Wario and stack two boxes on the left, then crawl into the left opening before the next set of spikes hit you. Hit the other green mushroom after using Dragon Wario to fall onto it. When

Page 42: Wario Master of Disguise

it's safe, crawl through to the right and enter the now-open green door.

In the room you arrive in, open the chest on the ledge to get the Yellow Key. Then, unlock the yellow door to the right and go through it. You will now be back in that first room with the large door. Unlock the second yellow door to the right and enter that room. In here, you will find a blue device and a red one to the right, each with two platforms. Follow the directions noted previously (blue right, red left, red left, blue left, red right) and a ladder will appear above. Climb the ladder and go right to find two vines in your way. Use Arty Wario and place a box on the red mushroom below you, then fly to the upper ledge and step on the other one. Then, quickly run through the opening while it's clear and enter the next room.

For now, simply continue right into the following room. Once there, go right and jump onto the first red mushroom to make a moving platform appear. All of the mushrooms are timed, so you need to be quick to activate the next one in the sequence or else you'll have to start over. Open the red chest after hitting the first mushroom to get the "Forever Tissue Box". Make your way down, right, and upward through this room, hitting the mushrooms and using the moving platforms as well as Wicked Wario to reach the next one. When you reach the upper-left area again, crawl under the wall to reach the purple chest containing the Red Key. There is another red chest in the upper-right corner of the room containing the "Totally Legit UFO Photo".

Now that you have the red key, go back into the previous room to the west. Before you progress further, use Dragon Wario to fall into a hidden room below. Use Dragon Wario to fall through the thin platforms and reach the lower-right area by the red door. Unlock the door and enter that room. Inside, save with the Wario hat and open the red chest on the ledge to obtain the "Midterm Clothespins". If you go into the left room, you can climb down to another chest containing the "Bluebird of Luckiness".

After you get the treasures, go back to the right room and exit through the door. Jump upward through the thin platforms (use Genius Wario to find them if you have trouble), then return to the room above it. This time, use Cosmic Wario to shoot the blue switches and make your way up the platforms that appear. At the top, crawl into the upper-right area and enter the red door.

Page 43: Wario Master of Disguise

In here, use Wicked Wario and fly upward between the spikes. At the top, go right and open the chest to receive the "Wooden Nostril Cleaners". Then, head down and defeat a robot enemy, and you will see a formation of blue fire blocks. Get to the top of it and burn only the single block on the top level. Then, drop to the lower-right area and use Genius Wario to punch the red wall mushroom. Now, quickly switch to Thief Wario and jump to the top of the blocks. Stand on the left side up there and switch to Arty Wario, then stack three blocks to the right. After that, quickly use Wicked Wario and fly to the top of your new stack (don't worry about taking damage) and quickly crawl into the room to the right.

If you did it quickly enough, you should be able to reach the chest containing the Blue Key. With that done, go right and drop to the bottom area. Defeat the robots and climb the ladder, then clear all the blocks with Dragon Wario. Use Genius Wario and punch the mushroom again, then climb back down and go left to exit the room. This time, use Cosmic Wario and shoot the switches so you can reach the blue door on the left side.

In the blue door's room, jump up the middle area by going from ledge to ledge. At the top, use Cosmic Wario and shoot a laser diagonally into the left shaft, until you manage to hit the switch below (a less safe method would be to drop down the shaft and shoot it on the way down, but you will hit the spikes below). After you do that, get to the middle area and use Wicked Wario to fly to the right and upward while avoiding the spikes.

When you reach the room above, you will find numerous red mushrooms, and you will have to press them all simultaneously to continue. Start by using Arty Wario and placing a box on the same ledge as the two blue fire blocks. Use Wicked Wario to fly onto the box and push the upper blue block right, landing on the red mushroom below. Clear the first block you created with Arty Wario, and stack two more on the first block you pushed. Push the second blue fire block to the left, causing it to fall on another mushroom. Next, clear all the blocks you made by drawing poo on them, then place three boxes on three more mushrooms. Finally, step on the remaining mushroom to open the way.

Now, go up the ladder and defeat the enemies, then go left and down to a

Page 44: Wario Master of Disguise

chest. Open it to get the Crimson Diamond, which will open that final door in the first area. With that done, crawl to the right and fall into the room below. Switch to Genius Wario and punch the green mushrooms on the way down (three total). At the bottom, simply drop into the room below. Continue falling to reach the door in the lower segment, then go through it to reach the main area with all the doors. With the diamond, jump to the top ledge and go through the final door to find the last Wishstone piece, as well as the final boss.

For the boss's first phase, there will be four eyes that will open at random and shoot rings at you. Use Genius Wario and punch the red one when all four eyes open, and the boss will cry tears that will partially flood the room. Repeat this process until the room is fully flooded, then use Captain Wario and shoot torpedoes at the head (five hits will do it in; if you don't get it done right now, you'll have to go through the whole process again to reflood the room).

The second phase will put you in a room full of masks on the wall. Three will appear at a time to shoot projectiles at you. The objective is to use Cosmic Wario and shoot lasers so that all three masks turn blue at the same time. When you shoot a mask, it will turn blue for a couple of moments. You will have to reflect your lasers so that they hit at least two of them, then quickly shoot the third one yourself. After you cause damage by doing this, stick to the sides of the room to avoid the spikes that come out of the floor. Do this five times to defeat this phase of the boss.

For the third part, you will be in a room with a red mask hanging high above. Attack it with Dragon Wario's fire breath and the mask will become angry, sending fireballs into the room. Stay to the sides to avoid getting hit, then when the room calms down, repeat your attack. Do this five times to defeat the third form. Now, for the final form, simply use Thief Wario and tackle the boss to fully defeat it.

Now that you have defeated the boss, you will witness the final scenes in this fantastic garden. Following the events here, the credits will roll; congratulations on beating this game, now go back and collect the treasure

How to Use: Draw a square box with a diagonal line through the middle.

Ability: Can create boxes (draw a square) which can be used to reach higher areas, press down switches, etc. Initially you can only draw one box at a time, but you can draw three after obtaining the mastery gem. If you simply tap anywhere, you will draw poo, which will destroy any blocks you created if hit. Later on, you can also draw a warp door (rectangle with diagonal line through the middle) to quickly return to a save point, as well as hearts to recover your health. When in this form, you can not move, so keep that in mind as well.

Remember which sections were not colored before the preview, as those will be the same parts you will need to fill in now. Tap a color on the left, then rub the stylus to color in a certain location. You do not need to be perfect, but as long as the majority of a section is colored properly, you

Page 68: Wario Master of Disguise

will be okay. When you're done coloring, press OK on the top to be judged. For each section you mess up the colors on, you will lose a chance; lose them all and you will automatically fail.

==========Losta Dots==========

For this game, the objective is simple: connect the dots! There will be numerous numbered dots arranged on the board, which will form an image when connected in order. Drag the stylus from one number to the next to draw the lines (if you take too long between numbers, you will lose a chance; lose all your chances and you will fail). You will win as soon as you reach the final number in the sequence.

===========Roach Smash===========

You will have an overhead view of the board, and roaches will start to march into the room from all sides. There is a certain pattern to their movements, which may become more complex at higher difficulty settings, so once you figure it out, hitting enough of them will be rather simple. Smash a roach simply by tapping it. You only have a certain amount of time to crush a specific amount of them; do it and you will pass, otherwise you will fail.

===============Traced Memories===============

In this game, you will be given the outline of an image on the touch screen. You will then have to trace the entire picture within a certain timeframe; however, there will be lasers moving back and forth in varying patterns to hinder your progress. If you are drawing in the laser's path, you will lose a Wario hat. Lose them all and you will automatically fail. When you feel you have completely traced the image, tap the OK button at the top to find out the results. In higher difficulty settings, you will have less chances and

Page 69: Wario Master of Disguise

the laser patterns will be more complex.

=========Trash It!=========

There will be five containers in a line at the bottom of the screen. Above them, there will be two thin lines, between which items will randomly appear and start to fall. Your job is to drag each falling item so they fall into their proper containers, as shown at the start of the game. In higher difficulty settings, the items will fall even quicker. You win the game after you successfully sort a certain amount of items. Be careful though; if you drop an item into the wrong container, you lose a chance. Here is a quick rundown of what item goes with which container:

Garlic -> MouthCoin -> Money BagPoo -> ToiletGem -> Treasure ChestBaseball -> Glove

============Trick Slider============

Here, you will have to deal with a sliding panel puzzle. There will be eight panels you can move around by using the stylus, with the final panel being filled in after you properly line up the others. These puzzles can be solved easily with no more than a handful of movements, but as the difficulty goes up, it can take a little bit longer. You must line up the panels within the time limit to win; if you cannot do this, you will fail. Luckily, there will be a smaller version of the completed image off to the side, which you can use as a reference.

==============Wario's Ladder==============

For this game, you will have five columns, with Wario starting at the top of one of them. Along the way down, there will be lines connecting the columns.

Page 70: Wario Master of Disguise

At the bottom, there will be a gem, which is your goal. When you press OK to send Wario down the line, he will follow any lines connecting columns as he descends. With this in mind, you will have to draw more connecting lines to lead Wario to the gem at the bottom. In later difficulty levels, there will be bombs on certain connecting lines which will automatically fail you if you hit them. Try your best to steer away from those if possible.

==========Zappy Path==========

Here, you will have another outline of an image. This time, though, there will be a blue ball at one end, and an orange goal ball at the other end. The objective is to drag the blue ball along the outline's path to the goal at the end. However, you cannot hit the sides or else you will lose a chance. As you go to higher difficulty levels, you will have less time and chances to complete this game. Be patient and quick, but not TOO quick, and you should have no problems here.

As of this version, the file contains all the information I know to date. If it is a work in progress, give me time before bombarding me with emails about things being missing. All I ask is that you READ THE FAQ before emailing me, since that's what it's here for! Don't waste my time (and yours) by asking me for information obviously covered in the guide. If it's in reference to a side quest or item, chances are they can be found in another section besides the walkthrough, so check the appendices as well.

If you have any questions, comments, or things to add that are not already in this FAQ, feel free to email me. I usually do post submissions, credit given of course, so long as I feel they are relevant to the game in question. My email address is: dbmfaqs(at)gmail.com.
