MEMBERSHIPYOUR OPTIONS FOR 2011-2016

Page 2: Warwickshire CCC Membership

As a current member we want to reward you for your loyalty and commitment to the club over recent years. The information in this brochure sets out your options for membership for 2011 and beyond. We hope it will help you decide which type of membership you wish to take out for the future.

The new stand will be completed by early July next summer and is planned to be fully open to members from this time. The ground will take on a whole new look and feel but the traditional Edgbaston atmosphere and welcome will remain.

In terms of cricketing action, Members are still promised a full domestic calendar of cricket which will account for over 40 days of cricket each season.

There is already plenty of International Cricket scheduled to be played at Edgbaston through to 2016.

The full list of already allocated fixtures is shown opposite.

In addition there are a large number of attractive international matches still to be allocated, including Ashes Test Matches in 2013 and 2015. Edgbaston will, of course, be submitting strong bids for all of these fixtures. With the new facilities and our proud history of hosting successful Ashes series we are optimistic that we will be awarded at least one of these international fixtures.

Other matches that are still up for grabs in the period through to 2016 include: Test Matches against India, South Africa and Pakistan; a host of One Day Internationals against full ICC member countries; several Domestic Finals Days including T20 Final Days and four further International T20 matches.

Existing members will still receive priority booking and a discount on International

tickets along with their Beyond the Boundary Magazine twice a year and a copy of the Yearbook if they wish to do so. Membership will also continue to include the domestic T20 group games which many Counties have now elected to charge for separately.

ONE YEAR OR SIX YEAR OPTION?

Our records show that we are fortunate to have many loyal members who have been committed to the club for many years. With this in mind, for 2011 we have introduced a six year membership option which allows you to renew membership up to and including the 2016 season. We have chosen this date to coincide with our current allocation of international fixtures.

This option provides for annual renewals without the need to complete yearly paperwork and will provide a saving of up to £200 if you sign up for the six year period. Your membership pack will simply arrive each year before the season starts and you’ll be up and running.

However, if you wish to join on a yearly basis this option will still be available to you.

WILL YOU CHOOSE THE PAVILION END OR THE CITY END?

The next choice you will need to make is whether you wish to join the Pavilion Membership or the City Membership. The Pavilion Membership will include access to the new stand and the new premium members facilities for all the domestic matches and those International matches that you purchase tickets for.

If you choose the City Membership this will give you access to the current members’ facilities in the David Heath Suite plus the concourse of the new stand and the external seats in the lower tier of the new stand. However the City Membership will not include access to the Members’ Lounge in the new Pavilion.

SO WHAT ARE THE COST IMPLICATIONS?

If you choose the Pavilion Membership you will be paying slightly more for the premium facilities whereas if you take out the City Membership you will pay the same or less for the current areas.

If you look at the diagram opposite, it explains the options based on our three most popular membership categories, Full, Senior and Family.

If you are currently an Executive Club member you have the option to choose one of our premium packages which will be communicated shortly or one of the memberships options opposite.
