Report Illegal Dumping – on the spot fines up to $4,000If you see someone dumping material please take note of the registration, description of vehicle and person, date and time and report to Council. Call 1300 434 434 or [email protected]
Where to take computers, computer peripherals and TVs for free recyclingBelrose Resource Recovery Centre, Crozier Rd, Harvey Norman warehouse at Balgowlah and Kimbriki. Officeworks accept up to five computers and computer equipment only.
What to do with household chemicalsVisit epa.nsw.gov.au and search household chemicals or ring 131 555.

What to do with food waste Place in a compost bin or wormfarm. To learn more attend a free workshop at Kimbriki Eco House & Garden and receive a voucher to purchase a compost bin/wormfarm. Food waste in landfill produces greenhouse gas.

Large items must be disassembled so they can be loaded by two people
Place all metal items in a separate pile for recycling
Your Waste & Recycling Guide• Place bins out the night before collection day and bring them in within 24 hours• Bins should be on the kerb, at least 20cm apart and lid openings facing the street• Items must be in the bins and the lids closed flat to avoid litter
