Redistricting Meetings Set
A community meeting is set for December 10th to address the redistricting
process for two new schools in Roswell as well as classroom additions at
three North Fulton middle schools. The redistricting alternative maps for
the Round 2 meeting have been posted on the Fulton County website and
at WBMS.
Donations Needed
Please assist us in recycling your old eyeglasses, sun-
glasses and cell phone for Georgia Lions Lighthouse
Foundation/ Operation Eye Care to help provide vision
services to uninsured Georgians and underdeveloped
nations. Our recycling box is located in the main office. We will continue
to accept these items throughout the school year.
WHAT HAPPENS WITH YOUR DONATIONS
Eyeglasses are washed and sorted by volunteers; then each pair has its
prescription read and is bagged and labeled. Various doctors volunteering
overseas, missionaries, etc. put in requests. Finally glasses are sent to
developing or disaster-stricken nations to be redistributed. The more do-
nations we receive, the more we are able to send out.
Sunglasses are distributed to agriculture farm workers, mainly in Florida
but also nationally.
Cell phones are sold to a company that recycles some of the parts, then
refurbishes and resets them to be used for emergency calls only. The
phones are then sent to battered women’s shelters. These earnings are
used to support eye clinics we provide throughout the state.
For more information please go to www.lionslighthouse.org
LOST and FOUND
ALL items in the Lost and Found will be donated to charity on Wednesday
December 17th. Please have your student check the Lost and Found, locat-
ed near the clinic, on a regular basis for missing items.

giving back to our fabulous teachers and staff. The wrap-
