How Can You Use the Washington County Community Foundation? Think quickly- What do you give some-one who isn’t sure what they want or need…. Especially when the gift is to be opened 50 years from now? Are you now scrunching your eyebrows with a puzzled look on your face? Perhaps gazing up to the ceiling? Now, multiply that “someone” by 10,000 and change 50 years to “infinity and be-yond!” Does this sound like an impossible task to you? A riddle that has no answer? It certainly does to a lot of people….. but not everyone. Take Janet Bowling, for example. Jan-et has been serving on our Board of Directors since 2011 and has seen firsthand the impact that donors like you can have through the Washing-ton County Community Foundation. She wanted to start a fund to give back to Washington County, and wanted the fund to be en-dowed, so it will enable her to give back to

our community long after she is gone. She decided to establish the Janet Bowling and David Sebastian Touch Tomorrow Fund. “I don’t know what the needs of Washing-ton County are going to be in the future,”

she explained. “So I just wanted to start this type of fund so that it can change and meet the future needs of our community.” Thanks Janet, for helping to address the needs of our community, now and forev-er!
