1. During the week of May 13-17,2013, Chief Edwin Cooke attended theDelaware Chiefs' Council summer conference training held at theAtlantic Sands Hotel in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
2. On Tuesday, May 14, 2013, Cpl. Nathan Benson attended a BladesElementary School community affairs invite the public event held at theschool in the cafeteria.
3. On Saturday, May 18,2012, Cpl. Nathan Benson attended the ClarenceStreet Church of God's Community Day event held at the church inSeaford, Delaware.
4. On May 22-23, 2013, Chief Edwin Cooke attended the ProtectingDelaware's Children Conference held at the Dover Downs Hotel &Casino in Dover, Delaware.
5. During the week of June 3-7, 2013, Chief Edwin Cooke attended the SigSauer Semi-Automatic Pistol Instructor course [fifty hour block ofinstructions] conducted at the Sig Sauer Academy in Epping, NewHampshire.

The meeting was called to order by President W.T. Biscoe at 12:00 noon.
Motion by Messenger second by Stoner and carried to accept the minutes ofMay 2nd aspresented.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:Treasure: Treasurer Hutton presented the treasurers report in written form and isincluded with these minutes. Motion by Messenger second by Stoner and passed toaccept the Treasurers report as presented.
OPERATIONS:Operation chairman Jay Armiger reported that three companies had submitted bids onrefinishing the parking lot and stripping it. The bids were:
Daniels: $15,500Matt's: $7,660
Absolute: $8,475It was decided to accept Matt's bid.
Boat storage area West ofMarket Street: Discussion was held concerning hardsurfacing the boat storage area between the Marina and Market Street. The large rocks,uneven surface, ruts, etc make it extremely hard to move boats around and to work onthem. Operations Chairman Armiger will investigate the situation.
OLD BUSINESS:Dock Master reported on the time situation on the stay of the rentals in the boatstorage area East ofMarket Street.
NEW BUSINESS:Dock Master reported that we have eighteen unleased slips: A Dock - 5 unleased,B Dock - 5 unleased, C Dock - 6 unleased, D Dock - 2 unleased.

Jay Anniger showed sketches of a proposed light house to be erected at the Marinato honor the memory of his father, Junior Armiger, an original founder andDirector of the Marina.
The number of flood lights that are out was discussed. The Dock Master willrectify.
It was brought to the attention of the group that the supply ofhot water to theshowers is not always available. The Dock master will investigate.
The problem of damaged dock pedestals was discussed. A guard to protect thepedestals from the boat overhang may be the answer.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:05 pm.

Meeting Called to order at 7 PM by Chairman Reiss
Old Business
Sechler presented final plans for the Dollar General store. All permits are in hand. DGwill replace the sidewalk and provide a shelter for the bus stop. Since the building is lessthan 10,000 Sq. Ft. sprinklers are not required. Construction should start about July 1.
Motion to accept by Hutton, Second Hardin, Passed.
New Business
Otis King presented plans for an addition the residence at 105 E. Seventh St. Motion toapprove, subject to King providing the Town Clerk with an acceptable plot plan, byHardin, Second Messenger, Passed.
Mayor Smith expressed a desire to give the Code Enforcement Officer the power to levyfines on repeat offenders. The commissioners supported the concept. Mayor Smith willinvestigate the procedure necessary to implement such a plan.
The State ofDelaware will present a new Flood Plain Map on June 19. Messenger willattend for the Commission.
