CRUSHFINDING NEMO: THE MUSICAL

DISNEYS ANIMAL KINGDOM THEME PARK

Show Description:The undersea world that charmed audiences around the world in the Disney presentation of thePixar Animation Studios film Finding Nemo comes to life in a musical stage show at Disneys

Animal Kingdom. Finding Nemo: The Musicalwill immerse guests of all ages in the storyof Marlin and Nemo, an overprotective clownfish father and his curious son, through a dazzlingproduction that combines puppets, dancers, acrobats and animated backdrops. Principalcharacters such as Marlin, Nemo and Dory will be represented by live performers operatinglarger-than-life puppets. Peripheral characters will be realized by a diverse array of puppetrystyles, including rod, bunraku and shadow.

Character Description: CRUSHStrong comedic scripted actor. High, first tenor who sings Beach Boys style, with most vocal inthe upper male tessitura to D. Basic movement and blocking. All builds and heights, 20s 30s.Plays 2 roles: CRUSH, a laid back and fun loving surfer dude turtle. Wise old father with theability to rock and BUBBLES, lives in the fish tank where NEMO drops in. Strong puppetry skills.

CRUSHYou took on the jellies, mini-man. Ya saved little blue!

MARLINLittle blue?! Dory! Is she okay?

DORY enters being chased by a bunch of SEA TURTLE KIDS.

DORY and SEA TURTLE KIDS exit.

MARLIN(Swimming frantically in circles)

As the SEA TURTLE KIDS rush to jump on MARLIN,SQUIRT accidentally flies out of the current.

SQUIRTWhoa!

MARLIN(Gasps)

Oh my goodness!

MARLIN moves to rescue him, but CRUAH puts out a flipper to stop him.

CRUSHKILL THE MOTOR, DUDE.

WHY DONT YA TAKEIT SLOW?LET US SEE HOW SQUIRT DOES FLYING SOLO?

SQUIRT re-enters the current with a splash. MARLIN is surprised.

SQUIRTWhoa! That was so cool!
