  • We are excited about your transition into the RHBC Student Ministry!

Middle School is where students really start to figure out how their faith plays into their daily lives. I am excited to be a part of this journey with you and your student. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your student over the next few years.

In the following pages you will get an insight into what our Student Ministry is all about and ways you and your student can get involved.

As always, if you need anything, just ask. Im glad that youre here and look forward to serving you and your family.

  • Note to the Parents

We welcome your PRESENCE. The RHBC Student Ministry maintains an open door policy toward parents. You

are welcome to visit one of our programs at any time. We want you to see for yourself what your student is experiencing week to week.

We value your INPUT. Feel free to share your input, concerns, questions, comments, and

observations with our staff. We want to partner with you in any way we can.

We encourage your INVOLVEMENT. We are ALWAYS on the lookout for parents who have a special place in their hearts

for middle school students and are open to joining our volunteer team. Our volunteers help run events, lead Bible studies, organize ministry opportunities, and more. If you

would like to be involved on a regular basis, wed love to talk to you personally!

We need your STUFF. This doesnt happen often, but occasionally we need to borrow something

that we simply cant provide on our own. Sports equipment, mini vans, homes, and the like are items that we may ask you to loan out on occasion to help us in a pinch.

BlogEach week after Merge and following every retreat, I post a recap of the events to serve as a resource to you as a parent. I include an overview of the Scripture we used, any major themes that came up, and I also try to include a couple of follow up questions for you to ask your student.

The blog provides a way for you to stay current in what your student is being exposed to and also provides you with a way of following up.

We also use the blog to talk about other things going on in the student ministry. Make a point to check it every week to stay up to date.
