We are learning about the ocean. The ocean is salt water that covers most of the world. People pollute the water and kill some of the plants and animals. We need to protect the ocean habitat. Sometimes the ocean gets frozen.

The ocean is located all over the world. The oceans are called the Pacific Ocean ,the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, the Southern Ocean, and the Arctic Ocean.

There are many types of plants in the ocean. Kelp is a type of seaweed. Sea grasses are an important habitat for sea animals. The mangrove trees grow right in the ocean.

There are many animals that live in the ocean. Fish can be many colors. The lion fish lives in the ocean. Many different types of sharks live in the ocean. There are sting rays that can be mean and sting.

The man o’ war helps a fish called a clown fish. The clown fish will not get eaten by a shark if it hides in the man o’ wars tentacles. This is how the man o’ war helps the clown fish.

There are four different levels in the ocean. They are called the Sunlight Zone, the Twilight Zone, the Midnight Zone, the Abyssal Zone. Each level of the ocean has a habitat.
