We are Part Time Pilots

The Reviews Live Review The final band of the night is Part Time Pilots who take the stage and instantly kick the night into

overdrive with a set of energetic and catchy Punk Rock. The crowd congregates to the front of the stage;

who were likely enticed from by the catchy songs and infectious stage performance of the band. In-

between the occasional mosh pits that had formed, the crowd show their admiration for the band as

they sing loudly and proudly along with their material.

Their set list contained a cross section of material such as ‘Hunting Season’, which was the opening song

on ‘Lovely Girls’ to ‘Bragging Rights’ and ‘Little Green Men’ from ‘Tally Ho Amigo’’. They finished the

night with the crowd in the palm of their hands, wanting more.

From what I witnessed, this is a band that exudes professionalism and a true enjoyment for the material

that they are performing. Their set was extremely solid throughout, which is something that I would

naturally expect from the band.

Part Time Pilots really delivered in terms of their performance and on stage presentation.

Hailing from the mean streets of Omagh, Part Time Pilots are a sprightly bunch of punk rockers that play their

part in what could be considered something of a new wave of young, Northern Irish punk bands doing the

rounds at the A band apparently "sick of what's on the radio" there is unquestionably more than a hint of the

Arctic Monkeys about the band’s approach that, given some experimentation and a little creative expansion,

are a cert for being full-time contenders.

This EP is thoroughly enjoyable, and highly recommended if you’re craving a slice of good old-fashioned punk

rock. It won’t change your political views, or make you frown about the state of the world. It doesn’t lecture or

preach. Instead, the possible side effects include smiling, head-nodding, foot-tapping or even drunken shape-

throwing.

This is an impressive album and I dare anyone to say otherwise. The fact that they haven’t tried too hard to do

something original is important and the laid back passion is clearly noticeable. If I don’t hear more, bigger

things from this band in the future it will be a great shame, because it leaves you wanting more.

These ‘tight & might’ musicians are bringing the punk rock music with a legit sound, energy and punk charm!

I was definitely a fan from the music ‘Go’ and see and hope many other music appreciators put these rocking

cats into their daily ear music modules, real music goods here!
