What is involved in participating?
The study involves approximately 9 visits over the course of 6 months. Youwill be compensated $150 for your time.
This is a clinical study to develop a caregiver training program to address theunique challenges faced by lesbian, gay, and bisexual informal caregivers ofpeople living with dementia. Our goal is to improve caregiver mastery andmood, and reduce stress in LGB caregivers of loved ones and friends withdementia.
What is Equality in Caregiving?
Lesbian, gay, or bisexual18 or olderConsider yourself to be a primary caregiver for a person living withdementiaHave normal memory and thinking abilitiesAre available to attend a six week course at Emory University in theevenings (after 6 pm), two half hour clinic visits, and a focus group
