How does the Well Earth® sourcing program work?

WE BUILT A PRESCHOOL IN MADAGASCAR TO SUPPORT FARMERS’ FAMILIES.

WE DONATED A DELIVERY TRUCK TO HELP FEED SCHOOLCHILDREN IN

Frontier Co-op donated a truck that delivers meals to more than 2,000 children daily at schools in remote areas of India.

This program of the Indian charity Akshaya Patra has been extremely effective in increasing attendance and decreasing the dropout rate by providing meals to schoolchildren.

Our organic ylang ylang essential oil is produced in the village of Ambohimena, Madagascar. To attend school in this remote area, children had to walk one hour each way to a neighboring village.

To support the workers’ families and their community, we built a preschool in their village. Between 40 and 50 children ages 2 to 5 attend this school.

We dug 49 wells throughout Madagascar in small farming villages that produce our organic vanilla beans, bringing clean water to 25,000 people.

Grown on one-acre shaded plots blessed with rich volcanic soil, clean air, and a long, cool growing season, the goldenseal is hand-harvested and hand-washed five times to gently clean the delicate roots.
