FIGHT THE DEMANDBe aware that pornography creates demand for sex for sale. When pornography stops, sex trafficking drasti-cally declines. If you or someone you know is struggling, resources are available to help.

ENGAGE IN YOUR COMMUNITYYou are the watchman for your city. Get involved in your community. Start or attend anti-trafficking awareness seminars. Join a coalition.

PRAY FORTHE VULNERABLE IN YOUR COMMUNITY

• Lord, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will hear their cries and comfort them. You will bring justice to the orphans and the oppressed, so mere people can no longer terrify them. Ps. 10:17-18

• Pray protection for immigrants, that they will not be exploited.

• Pray protection for the young girls and boys in your life as you drive or walk through your neighborhood.

• Pray for your schools. Pray for discernment for teachers - let them have eyes to see and ears to hear when dangerous activity is going on and wisdom in how to respond.

• Ask God for a Scripture to proclaim over your neighborhood – and proclaim it!

• Pray, God, open my eyes to sex and labor traffick-ing in my community. Tell me what I should do with the talents and resource you’ve placed in my hand? How can I get involved in a practical way?

PIMPS AND TRAFFICKERS• This is a faithful saying and worthy of all accep-

tance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. 1 Tim. 1:15

• Pray for pimps to be freed from deception, and for a mighty healing and restoration.

• Pray for “Saul to Paul” conversion experiences for pimps, traffickers, and buyers in your community.

• Pray for education and training opportunities to enable them to enter into a new lifestyle.

• God, we know our battle is not against humans, but against darkness and principalities – we pray for pimps and traffickers to come to you and be set free!

THE BUYERS• Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil

• Pray for those struggling with pornography or sex addictions to be SET FREE. Is. 42:18

• Pray for breakthrough, healing and freedom from pornography in the church.

• Pray for their healing from addiction, deep seeded past hurts and buried pain.

• Pray for restoration for them and their families. Pray wisdom and healing for spouses in how to respond and be healed from betrayal. Pray for rec-onciliation in families.

• Mighty God, you are strong to heal bondages, break addictions, and heal marriages. Show your-self strong and mighty to those who call out to you! You are our Refuge!

LAW ENFORCEMENT• This is what the Lord Almighty said, “Adminis-

ter true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another.” Zech. 7:9

• Spiritual Warfare is intense. Cover your law enforcement in prayer as they seek to help traf-ficked victims. Pray for their safety and soul re-freshment as they seek to help wounded people.

• Pray for truth and integrity to rule in your local law office.

• Pray for police, prosecutors and judges to have understanding of the reality of human trafficking and how victims should be treated.

• Pray for favor and wisdom as they seek to find and rescue victims and prosecute traffickers.

• Pray for protection and strength for them and their families. Speak strength security and favor over their families and homes. The enemy wars against family.

• Pray that workers would not grow weary in well-doing, but will be refreshed and strengthened in relationship-building and in court cases.

• God, I speak your integrity and wisdom into my local police department. Help them to find and rescue trafficked victims. Strengthen them. Protect them and their families from threat and corruption.

LEGISLATION• Let every soul be subject to the governing

authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Romans 13:1

• Pray for wisdom for your governmental leaders as they write, consider, and pass laws regarding human trafficking.

• Pray for integrity in the high ranks of your government.

• Pray that the right laws will be passed to help combat human trafficking, prosecute traffickers, and help victims recover.

• God, thank you for working in the legal system of my country to pass and enforce laws to stop exploitation.

PRAY FOR:RESCUE FOR TRAFFICKED VICTIMS

• For he has not despised or scorned the suffer-ing of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help. Ps. 22:24

• Pray for safety. Pray for victims to be found, res-cued, and provided a safe place for treatment, to become and remain healed and whole.

• Pray for protection for families of victims who are being threatened or exploited.

• Pray for healing and liberty for trafficked victims – that every physical, mental, and spiritual chain that binds them to their captor will be broken.

• Proclaim freedom and hope in Jesus to those who are trapped in sex trafficking and want out.

• Speak an awakening of dreams, visions and hope over victims – where they are right now. God, we know that nothing is impossible with you! Mt. 19:26

REHABILITATION FOR TRAFFICKED VICTIMS• Proclaim Genesis 50:20 on behalf of traffick-

ing victims: You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.

• Pray for victims. Pray for freedom and wholeness – physical, mental, and spiritual.

• Speak hope! The desire to go back to the famil-iarity of the abuse and chaos can be strong. Pray that victims choose to stay in their safe homes and programs.

• Pray for shelter managers, safe house leaders and social workers who are offering help and services.

• Pray provision and favor for shelters and safe houses, that they would be fully stocked to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those they serve.

• God we thank you that YOU can do abundantly more than we can ask or think, in healing, in protection, in provision – You are Mighty!
