DARAT is a Specialized Contracting Company that provides full solutions for the design, fabrication, Supply, and erection of all types of steel buildings and special structures; this includes all types and sizes of steel hangers for industrial facilities, stores (Frozen, Cold and Regular), retail and commercial centers, mezzanine floors, platforms, and pedestrian and vehicle bridges, in addition to special type structures (cement and grain mills and silos, tanks for liquid and solid materials etc.).
DARAT has a long term business partnership with one of the biggest and most reputable steel fabrication factories in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with a production capacity of 3000 M.T per month of primary and secondary steel and Single Skin sheeting. DARAT also has strong business relations with several distinguished steel fabricators in the United Arab Emirates, with production capacities ranging from 1000 to 2500 M.T per month which are considered as a support to DARAT’s capability to meet the demands of its customers.

With its business partnership with one of the most reputable steel fabrication facilities in Jordan, that is fully equipped with edge of the art machinery and equipment, and supported by several distinguished steel fabricators in UAE, DARAT has the capacity to supply as much as 6,000 MT of structural steel per month, estimated to support an annual portfolio of projects exceeding SAR250 Million utilizing only 33% of the full capacity of its alliance factories. As for erection process, DARAT is currently capable of supporting multi simultaneous projects; building around 20,000sqm per month.

Since its establishment, DARAT’s senior management has been keen on growing company-owned assets; especially those related to the operations and activities of the company, the majority of the annual returns were reinvested in purchasing machinery and equipment that eliminated the reliance of the company on renting the machinery and equipment required to conduct its activities.
Today DARAT owns a fleet of machinery and equipment including mobile cranes, forklifts, cars, vans and pickups that are capable to deploy its teams to any location within the kingdom in a matter of hours.

Since its inauguration four years ago DARAT has managed to conduct and complete an exceptional number of 35 projects summing more than 285,000 sqm of built up areas. AL RASHEED SHOWROOM – WESTERN RING ROAD - RIYADH
Project Description: A showroom located at a prime location along the Western ring Road of Riyadh and amid a group of high-end showrooms mainly for automobile agencies and dealers.
The total built up area is around 3,500sqm of which a mezzanine floor of around 1000sqm was located at the inner side of the building.
The two sidewalls and the back wall were all block walls, while the front wall was covered with cladding and glass, all supported by the steel structure.
DARAT Scope of Work: Supply and erection of steel structure along with single skin roof sheeting and insulation.

STEEL PLATFORM – MOWE HEADQUARTER BUILDING
Project Description: The iconic project consists of two separate steel platforms connecting the 4 wings of the huge concrete building together for the sake of pedestrian movement within and between the wings.
The uniqueness of these 1,000 sqm platforms is not only due to their irregular trapezoidal shape, but also due to the huge weights these platforms are supposed to carry; as heavy as 1,150 Ton of steel, decking, and concrete slab, and other dead and live loads are supported by the three sets of columns in each platform.
DARAT Scope of Work: Supply and erection of structural steel and decking.

AL ZAHID CAT WORKSHOP
Project Description: Located within the facility of the reputable Al ZAHID Tractors Company, agents of the international CAT Machinery manufacturer, the 2,250sqm workshop is to be used as one of the maintenance centers for tractors and heavy machinery.
The 20m width building contains two 10Ton cranes in two parallel aisles, each of around 8.4m.
DARAT Scope of Work: Supply and erect of the steel structure along with single skin sheeting and insulation for the roof and walls.

CLIENT STORES 2 & 3 AND CAR PARK – AL SAMEREYA FARM
Project Description: Located within the prestigious Al Samereya Farm, a high-end private leisure complex around 65Km to the north of Riyadh, the two warehouse buildings; each of around 3,100sqm were used to store furniture and valuables, while the 5,000sqm fully closed car parking was used to store the set of unique cars of the client .
The total built up area of the project was around 11,000sqm.
DARAT Scope of Work: Supply and erection of the steel structure along with single skin, skylight and insulation for the roofs.

MEZZANINE FLOOR – SAUDI CERAMIC
Project Description: The national ceramic manufacturer has requested us to build them a mezzanine floor around the internal perimeter of one of their existing buildings to carry machinery producing high vibrations along with some additional storage space. The total built up area of the mezzanine floor is around 3200sqm and shall hold – in addition to the dead loads – 10KN/sqm of live load.
DARAT Scope of Work: Supply and erection of structural steel, staircases, and heavy duty decking.

WAREHOUSE C & CENTRAL WORKSHOP – MODA
Project Description: Within an army base in Dwadmi, around 260Km to the west of Riyadh, a multi-purpose warehouse and one workshop, each of around 7,000sqm area, totaling 14,000sqm, the warehouse building to have a single span of 55m with additional collateral load of 1KN/sqm on the roof.
DARAT Scope of Work: Supply and erection of the steel structure along with sandwich panel for the roofs and single skin sheeting and insulation for the walls.

AL JAWDAH CABLES FACTORY
Project Description: Located within Sudair Industrial City, around 100Km to the north of Riyadh, Al-Jawdah Cables Factory is one of several factories to be built for the same investment group.
The built up area of the factory is just less than 15,000sqm, divided into two major zones, one with a single clear span of 47m, and the other with two spans, one of 45m and the other with 34m.
DARAT Scope of Work: Supply and erection of structural steel along with single skin sheeting and insulation for the roof and walls above the 3m block walls.

METTEN ARABIA CEMENT PRODUCTS FACTORY
Project Description: A Fully Automated Block and Cement tiles factory of 3,540sqm located in Sudair Industrial Zone. Due to its huge size and weight the Machinery had to be installed prior to the steel structure which had to be erected afterwards, and this necessitated the erection of the huge rafters (49m long and around 1.5m depth) each as one peace using some of the biggest mobile cranes in the country.
DARAT Scope of Work: Supply and erect of structural steel and Sandwich Panel all roofs and walls.

NAMARIQ CAMP AND RENTAL FACILITY – JAZAN
Project Description: Located within the promising national initiative; the Jazan Economic City (Special Economic Zone), a huge camp and rental facility was built to accommodate the first arrivals of the tens of thousands of expected labor.
DARAT’s task was to build the main facility buildings, including the main kitchen building, the workshop, the main laundry building, and several sets of bathroom facilities with a total built up area of around 7,600sqm.

MA’ADEN - KING ABDULLAH PROJECT – WA’AD AL SHAMAL
Project Description: Located within one of the most important national Saudi projects “Waad Al Shamal” area of Ma’aden; the project is part of the Residential district, consisting of several components, namely; several General Stores, Chemical Stores, huge Kitchen and Mess Hall, 14 Nos. of Roof Systems for the Single Studio apartments, and one roof system for the civil defense department, with a total area of around 7,000sqm.

HERFY CHILLED STORES IN RIYADH 2ND INDUSTRIAL ZONE
Project Description: Located within the Riyadh 2nd Industrial Zone, the project is a vital addition to the increases chilled storage capacity of the national Public listed company; Herfy for food services. The combined areas of around 9,000sqm comprise room temperature storage, and chilled and frozen storage areas.
