TO CELEBRATE THE :i!)TH ANNIVERSARY of the Steuben Society of America , Henry E. Steinway Unit No. «(> of Patchogue , members held a dinner-dance Sept. 29 at the Medford Brau Haus. The guest speaker was Assembl yman f. William Bianchi , Jr. Pictured under the unit flag are (left to right): George Vogler , master of ceremonies; Robert II. Diedolf , national secretary ; Herman Maier , chairman of the unit and Brookhaven Town Clerk Kurt Behme. Over 150 attended the party. Michael Huey Three Center Moriches youths are enrolled at Missouri Valley College this fall. James Willis Huey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Huey , 30 Newins , Center Moriches , is a junior this year at Missouri Valley. Huey is majoring in Education. He graduated from Center Moriches High School in June 1971. Michael Hugh Huey, also the Craig Sinclair son of Mr. and Mrs. Clay ton Huey , is a junior this year , too. He is majoring in Ph ysical Education and graduated from Center Moriches High School in June 1971. Craig Bruce Sinclair , son of Mrs. Eleanor Sinclair , 37 North Ocean Ave., Center Moriches , is a freshman this year. Sinclair is majoring in Psychology. He graduated from Center Moriches James VV. Huey High School in June 1973. Missouri Valley is a four-year liberal arts college in mid- America , which awards Bachelor of Arts , Music and Science degrees. The college 's academic offerings range from art to criminology to religion to micro- economics. The college was founded in 1889 as a Presbyterian-related educational institution. Thre e fro m CM at Missouri Valley Jess Wright Exhibitions At Libra ry The Patchogue Library has announced that paintings by Jess W. Wrigh t will be shown at the library during the month of October. Mr. Wright began painting nine years ago at the age of 65 , alter a varied career in the petroleum industry. He has also had a career as a singer , ap- pearing in churches and on the radio with such performers as James Melton and John Charles Thomas. Mr. Wright' s paintings have been exhibited in Long Island museums and galleries , as well as in other Long Island libraries. His work is also represented in private collections and in business offices and restaurants on Long Island. The paintings are on display on the street level of the library, which is open . from 10-9 . Monday through Friday, and from 10-5:30 on Saturday. Theatre Club Now Casting Dinner Theatre Productions is now casting for their theatre restaurant group. The show is p icked ("Lovers and Other Strangers ") , the restaurant is waiting. Anyone who is interested in this new and different type of entertainment can contact Miss Aversano at 289-2020 , Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or write to Lee Cohen , 1 Cherry Lane , East Patchogue. NPFD Romps to Title With 1 8-3 Record Finally, after what started out to be a tight race was turned into a romp by the North Patchogue Fire Department , which finished with an 18-3 record. The closest anybody came was Triangle Pacific and Montana Con- struction , which tied for second with a 14-7 record. Manager Ralph Geranimo 's team members are Glen Parr- sette , Ed Donohoe , Fred Ostrick , Tim Gordon , Ron Marshall , Geo West , Tom Schottsir , David Hake , Jim Tivers , Adams , Fries and Jim Booth. The Little League All-Stars won the District 36 Championship and go into the semi-finals of the Rockville Centre Tournament. This was the farthest any team had gone. The annual major-minor managers game was held with the majors winning 41-4. Al Gentzel pitched for the winners , and was helped by outstanding hitting from Byron Pink; Dean Easier , and Karl Gustafson. The defense was not to be denied , especially Ira Look , Jan Porter , Frank Frascogna , Joe Zelenski and Ken Leupp. Putting their undefeated team on the line , the majors managers held off the women softball managers , 16-7. Sue Adams had her team up for the game , but the men were too much. Judy Dempsey, Jerry Look , Ronnie Botts were onl y a few of the ladies who played.
