SOME OF THE PROGRAMS SUPPORTEDBY GSCHF IN THE PAST ARE:

PlannedGiving

“Making a Difference”

As you can see, plannedgifts can benefit you andthe Foundation. Theyallow you to determine

ow Is the Time Nwhere, who, when and how you wish to give. You can give a leg-acy that will honor your memory, enhance the community, supportthe medical needs of future gener-ations, and tax and income benefitsmay apply.

We know there are many worthycharities, but few will have morelasting impact for good within ourlocal communities than your support of Good ShepherdCommunity Health Foundation.

For further information, please contact us at:

CHARITABLE WILLS & BEQUESTSThese are the simplest and most pop-ular planned gifts. The Foundation canbe named in your will to receive an unrestricted gift for Foundation pur-poses or a restricted gift for scholar-ships, technology, or medical services.

GIFTS OF CASH & SECURITIESLet’s not forget donations of cash orsecurities as a planned gift. A cash orsecurities gift is immediately availableto benefit the Foundation in accom-plishing its health-related purposes.

REAL ESTATE and PERSONAL PROPERTYGifts of real estate or personal pro-perty can be given to the Foundationto continue its cause. Real estatemust be owned outright. Tangible personal property might include art, jewelry, furniture and artifacts. Thesegifts are subject to Foundation approval prior to making the gift.

CHARITABLE REMAINDER TRUSTSCharitable trusts come in various forms. The most common is the Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust. In this method, a trust is set up to receive an asset. The trust owns the asset and you receive income from itsinvestment during the next 20 years or your life. The asset then reverts to the Foundation after the specifiedterm is ended.

INSURANCELife insurance is a unique way to givea planned gift. The Foundation wouldbecome the beneficiary and no otherownership would be retained.

CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITYIn this agreement, a gift of assets would be given to the Foundation andyou would receive a fixed income forlife; the amount determined by yourage and amount of the gift. This typeof gift is popular because it offers thepotential for secured future income.

We look forward to hearing from you.
