Vegetation und den antiken Olivenhainen. Der hauseigene 18-Loch-Golfplatz - Par 71 wurde vom amerikanischen Studio

Hurdzan/Fry entworfen, hat eine Länge von 6.192 Meter und bietet ein vielfältiges Design, welches immer versucht, die

Harmonie zwischen den natürlichen Charakteristiken des Territoriums und jene des Spiels zu finden. Das neu ausgesäte

amerikanische Bermuda ist schon stark und kompakt und garantiert einen optimalen Treffmoment des Golfballs. Die Pflege

des Golfplatzes ist vorbildlich und erlaubt ein einmaliges Golferlebnis. Nachhaltigkeit in Umweltfragen ist uns ein wirkliches

Anliegen, deshalb sind die Umweltbelastungen ganz minimal. Übrigens hier wurden bereits zwei Mal European Challenge

Turniere abgehalten.

In a natural setting and unique landscape for its beauty and integrity, in the midst of the maquis and ancient olive trees, you will find the

Acaya Golf Club, designed by the renowned American firm Hurdzan and Fry. The 18-hole par 71 course is 6,192 metres long and offers

a wide variety of design, constantly searching for perfect harmony between the natural features of the land and how the shots are to be

played. The fairway grass, using a strong, dense American Bermuda grass seed, guarantees that the ball will float extremely well along

the surface for shots that are always sharp and clean. On the sides, a mixture of four types of fescue ripples at natural height. For the

greens, two varieties, A4 and A1, of agrostis stolonifera palustris have been used: a composition that has about twice the number of stems

in the grass than conventional penncross. The perfect maintenance of the course ensures fairways in excellent condition. The specific

grass allows a careful use of the environmental resources in compliance with the most advanced standards of sustainability and energy

saving. The course of the Acaya Golf Club was twice home to the prestigious European Challenge Tour.

lava stone of Mount Etna, covers 5,870 metres, with a driving range, putting and pitching green. Luigi Rota Caremoli made the most

und zu der Insel Elba begrüsst alle Golfspieler auf Loch 1. In den 60er Jahren wurde das Projekt von Giulio Cavalsani entwickelt.

Selbst heute noch respektiert der Golfplatz noch die modernsten Kriterien der Golfarchitektur. Der Golfplatz hat 6168 m Fläche für

insgesamt 18 Löcher, par 72. Die verteilten Greens am Meeresufer sind in den strategischen Punkten des Platzes angesiedelt. Die

Lage des Golf Club Punta Ala, im Herzen der Maremma, macht den Platz auch als Landschaftsbild sehr interessant, die Löcher

überkreuzen sich in einem mediterranen Naturbild zwischen Eichen, Pinien und Korkbäumen. Der Golf Club Punta Ala verfügt

über Driving Range, Golf Cart, Elektro- bzw. Handwagen und einem Pro-shop. Die Fairways sind von leichten Wellen durchzogen,

welche den Kurs noch interessanter gestalten. Betrachtet man die unterschiedlichen Schwierigkeitsstufen der 18 Löcher, muss

gesagt werden, dass sich der Golfplatz dem Können seiner Spieler anpasst, sodass alle Wünsche der Spieler erfüllt werden, vom

Opened in 1964, Golf Club Punta Ala is famous not only for the wonderful panoramic views over the Gulf of Follonica but also for

favourable climatic conditions making the course playable all year round. One of the first courses built in Tuscany and one of only

a handful of courses in Italy with a sea view. Designed in the 1960s by Giulio Cavalsani, the course has all the modern features ex-

pected of top-quality golf architecture. The course is 72 par over 18 holes for a total length of 6,168 metres. The large, undulating

greens, featuring a mixture of agrostis and seaside grasses, are located at the most strategic points of the course. In recent years

the fairways have been gradually reseeded with a variety of Bermuda grass to improve the quality of the playing surface even more.

The position of the Golf Club Punta Ala, in the heart of the Maremma region of Tuscany, provides the course with stunning views as

ADRIATIC GOLF CLUB

Die 27 Loch Golfanlage liegt direkt am Meer und integriert in seinem Verlauf auch die bestehende Pineta. Um diesen

Golfkurs optimal anzulegen, sind fast 100 Hektar Land eingeplant worden. Der italienische Architekt Marco Croze hat 1986

die ersten 9 Löcher gezeichnet und angelegt. Das Jahr drauf wurden die 18 Löcher fertiggestellt. Durch geschickten Einbau

der künstlichen Seelandschaft erinnert der Kurs an amerikanische Golfplätze. 2004 wurde dann durch Baldovino Dassu und

Alvise Rossi Fioravanti die 27 loch Anlage beendet. Die zusätzlichen 9 Löcher erinnern sehr an typische schottische Links.

The 27 holes of the Golf Club are located over an area close to the centuries-old pinewood, immediately behind the beach and

facing the Adriatic sea. In 1986, the first 9 holes were opened (RED COURSE), designed by Architect Marco Croze and located

right inside the unspoilt pinewood. The year after, the Marco Croze project was completed with the opening of the second 9 holes

(BLUE COURSE). This latter addition has made the course particularly pleasant and varied, being surrounded by lakes and hazards

recalling the large US courses. In 2004 – thanks the collaboration between the professional golfer Baldovino Dassù and Architect

Alvise Rossi Fioravanti – the third nine holes were completed (YELLOW COURSE), the innovative design of which is mainly inspired

by Scottish links.

Platz in Lans.

Der 18-Loch Championship-Course in Rinn liegt auf den alpinen Hängen des Glungezers im Herzen der Alpen. Die 18 teilweise

hügeligen Fairways ziehen sich wie zwei konzentrische Kreise über das Hochplateau. Der Platz besticht aber nicht nur in sportlicher

Hinsicht sondern bietet auch ein atemberaubendes Panorama. Die Fernsicht reicht vom Wettersteingebirge bis hin zum Wilden Kaiser

und hinterlässt bei allen Golfern einen bleibenden Eindruck. Der Golfplatz in Lans liegt in einer parkähnlichen, nur leicht gewellten

Landschaft. Die Bahnen ziehen sich zahm zwischen edlen Tannen, Laub- und Obstbäumen hindurch. Einmalig ist die Lage, insbesonders

jedoch der Ausblick vom im Jahr 2000 eröffneten Clubhaus: ca. 70 % des gesamten Platzes sind von der Terrasse aus überschaubar, im

Norden fängt die majestätische Nordkette den endlosen Blick dann ein. Die Nähe zur Olympiastadt Innsbruck verbindet Kultur, Natur

und Sport in besonderer Vielfalt.

Founded in 1935, the Innsbruck-Igls Golf Club has two golf courses. An 18-hole championship course in Rinn and a 9-hole course in Lans.

Situated in the sunny hills of the Glungezer Mountain the 18-hole Cham pionship Course in Rinn offers a challenging game. Its 18, partly hilly

fairways form two concentric circles on the high plateau. This course definitely leaves unforgettable images, not forgetting the breathtaking

view of the sur rounding mountains – from the Wetterstein mountain range to the famous Wilder Kaiser Mountain. All visitors love the alpine

impressions. The golf course in Lans is located in park-like, slightly undulating landscape. The holes are encircled by noble fir trees, deci-

duous trees and fruit trees. Enjoy the beautiful view from the club house, which was opened in the year 2000. You can see about 70% of the

total course from the terrace; to the north the majestic Nordkette is captured in the endless view. Due to its location near the Olympic city of

Innsbruck (approx. 10 minutes by car), it offers a perfect combination of culture, nature and sport.

ACHENSEE-PERTISAU GOLF CLUB

Der Golfclub Achensee wurde bereits 1934 gegründet und ist somit der älteste Club in Tirol. Er liegt auf 950 m Seehöhe, eingebettet

zwischen dem schönen Achensee und dem Naturschutzgebiet Karwendelgebirge. Für einen “Alpenplatz” gleiten die Spielbahnen

ungewöhnlich sanft über die sattgrünen Wiesen, vorbei an altem Baumbestand umrahmt von einer großartigen Bergkulisse. Die

komplett überdachte Driving-Range mit Blick über den blauschimmernden Achensee lässt die Herzen höher schlagen und so manchen

Fehlschlag sofort wieder vergessen.

Im Golfclub Achensee findet der Golfspieler alles - nicht nur erholsame Ruhe und ein unvergleichliches Naturerlebnis, sondern auch

This 18-hole championship golf course which is a member of “Leading Golf Courses” starts in the middle of Pertisau. Fantastic

views of Lake Achensee and the surrounding Nature Park Karwendel guarantee a unique experience. Situated at an altitude of

approx. 1000 metres in an undulating landscape, the course is a challenge for all golfing abilities.

The 18 fairways of the Seefeld-Wildmoos Golf Club – a member of “Austria’s Leading Golf Courses” – have been landscaped in such a way as

to blend in flawlessly with the undulating alpine meadows and larch and birch forests. Surrounded by majestic firs and spruces, experts have

ranked it among the top 100 golf courses worldwide.

In this peculiar golf course every fairway is set differently and makes it unmistakable and incisive. The route of the 18 holes is sportingly

challenging and is gently set with prowess on hilly terrain, and its height differences do not cause major problems for players. Electric trolleys

and e-carts are available. Quite often neo golfers are able to scale back their handicap. The season runs from late April until late October.

Der Golfkurs Zuoz-Madulain hat ein angenehmes Design, welches sich perfekt in die Landschaft einbindet und einen traumhaften

Blick auf das Engadiner Bergpanorama ermöglicht. Dieser Kurs ist sehr facettenreich und es werden vielen Spielvarianten von

den Golfer abverlangt. Der Designer Les Furber hat einen offenen Golfkurs geplant mit einem gewellten Platz und mit ein paar

Steigungen. Der Golfplatz öffnet gegen Mitte Mai bis Mitte Oktober. Startzeitreservierungen sind zu empfehlen.

The Zuoz-Madulain course at Golf Engadin St Moritz is a well-regarded layout, which includes several attractive holes and features.

This open parkland course will test most facets of your game, and should provide a round with plenty of enjoyable golfing challenges.

Worth visiting if you are in the area. Designed by Les Furber, Zuoz-Madulain golf course features18 holes, an open parkland, undulating

Engadin’s 18-hole par-72 Samedan course (6217 metres from the back tees) is located 11 km south-west along route 27 in Samedan,

towards St Moritz. Engadin Golf Club was founded in 1893 and is therefore one of the oldest golf clubs in Switzerland.

KULM-GOLF ST. MORITZ

Spieler entdeckten den Kulm Park bereits 1891 als Golflandschaft weit aus dem Rahmen. Der älteste Golfplatz in den Alpen

gewann bald einen internationalen Ruf und wurde so zum Treffpunkt für alle, die ihr Handicap verbessern wollen. Der St. Moritz

Players discovered the Kulm Park as early as 1891 as a golfing landscape far out of the ordinary. The oldest golf course in the Alps soon gained

international fame and thus became the meeting place for those wishing to improve their handicap. The St. Moritz golf architect Mario Verdieri

and the Kulm Hotel drew up a new concept for the historic greens in 2001 and brought the course up to date for today’s needs. Nestled in the

captivating Engadine mountain landscape, the new 9-hole golf is both appealing and demanding. The site, one of the highest in Europe, now has

a course uniting the original landscape with high-tech architecture.

The par 27 course and its practice range, with 16 teeing grounds and two putting greens, offers both beginners and experts challenges enhanced

by the magnificent view of the lake and the beautiful high valley of the Engadine. For improving the short game, there is a practice area with a

putting green, a bunker and fairway from which to make approach shots of up to 60m (65yds).
