51 [Jesus said] I am the living bread that came down from heaven.Anyone who eats this bread will live forever; and this bread, which Iwill offer so the world may live, is my flesh.”(WHAT!?)52 Then the people began arguing with each other about what hemeant. “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” they asked.(I should imagine a lot of them said "uggg! Grosss!) 53 So Jesus said again, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh ofthe Son of Man[Jesus] and drink his blood, [seriously!?] you cannothave eternal life within you. (I am sure people said "BUT, JESUS isn't that just WRONG!" - like,yucky-wrong?)54 [Jesus continued]. But anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life,and I will raise that person at the last day. (this sounds so wrong that Ineed to find out what Jesus is really saying.. .)55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. (this HAS tobe in a symbol way!)56 Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and Iin him. (Well, anything I eat or drink, does become a part of me.. .)57 I live because of the living Father who sent me; in the same way,anyone who feeds on me will live because of me.

Jesus gave us a very powerful picture!We were created to have

the life and power of God living within us.Believing in Jesus and becoming God's family is like

taking Jesus in,absorbing Jesus into yourself so God fills every cell!This is NOTHING about vampires or canibalism, it is

aboutfreedom, fullness, power and LIFE in Jesus,

So there was this guy - William Featherstonewho lived in Montreal Canadahe was 16 years old.he heard about Jesus and WOW he decided to follow HIM!He loved Jesus so much!He decided to write a poem about it. He sent the poem to his Aunt a country and a wholecontinet away in Los Angels USA.She went it to someone in ENGLAND (all the wy overthe continent AND the Ocean.  13,330 KM!!!Someone heard it, loved it and put music to it ANDput it in a book.

So.... We still sing it today!
