Music Events
"A.M. Radio Show, like the duo itself, originated on The Hill. Stealing a few minutes between classes in the practice rooms to work on music for school quickly developed into arranging covers of favorite songs and writing originals. The name A.M. Radio Show came about as a combination of the duo’s individual names and the blend of genres the couple notes as musical influences. "If music be the food of love, play on." For this couple, Shakespeare's words ring true...most of the time! Despite the occasional musical debate, whether jazz, classical, contemporary, or bluegrass, Andrew and Madison love performing together and are thankful for each opportunity to share music with others.
A.M. Radio Show is on Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram! Keep an eye open for the duo's One-Take Wednesdays each week, and connect with Madison Hunt (Junior in English) and Andrew Wilfong on this musical journey!"

Author of the Month
Charlotte Brontë was an English novelist and poet, the eldest of the three Brontë sisters who survived into adulthood and whose novels have become classics of English literature. She first published her works under the pen name Currer Bell. (1816-1855) Pregnant, she died, with her unborn child, on 31 March 1855, three weeks before her 39th birthday. Biographers including Claire Harman suggest that she died from dehydration and malnourishment due to vomiting caused by severe morning sickness or hyperemesis gravidarum. Dr. O’Neal’s British Literature class will experience her work first hand this semester with a close reading of Jane Eyre I am no bird; and no net ensnares me; I am a free human being with an independent will. Things changed in Romewith theintroduction of Christianity. It was easier toincorporatethesepracticesintothereligionthantoabolish them. Celebrating Love with John Keats, 1795-1821
Bright star, would I were stedfast as thou art— Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night And watching, with eternal lids apart, Like nature’s patient, sleepless Eremite, The moving waters at their priestlike task Of pure ablution round earth’s human shores, Or gazing on the new soft-fallen mask Of snow upon the mountains and the moors— No—yet still stedfast, still unchangeable, Pillow’d upon my fair love’s ripening breast, To feel for ever its soft fall and swell, Awake for ever in a sweet unrest, Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath, And so live ever—or else swoon to death.
1 Corinthians 13:4-5: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs."
