Haun is Chief Executive Officer for Nevada State Bank, a division of ZB, N.A., and Executive Vice President of Zions Bancorporation. Mr. Haun took the reins of Nevada State Bank in September 2007, bringing more than 30 years of strong commercial banking expertise and substantial managerial experience to his leadership position. Under Mr. Haun’s leadership, Nevada State Bank was awarded the insured deposits of the failed Silver State Bank in September 2008, as well as those of the failed Great Basin Bank of Nevada in 2009. He also spearheaded the reorganization of the bank into five lines of business – retail, real estate, small business, commercial, and private banking – enabling Nevada State Bank to better serve the needs of each client group. Prior to joining Nevada State Bank, Mr. Haun served as executive vice president for a major southern California bank, where he was also on the bank’s executive committee. In that position, he managed 12 regional centers, handling commercial and private banking throughout California. NEVADA STATE BANKDallas E. Haun is Chief Executive Officer for Nevada State Bank, a division of ZB, N.A., and Executive Vice President of Zions Bancorporation. Mr. Haun took the reins of Nevada State Bank in September 2007, bringing more than 30 years of strong commercial banking expertise and substantial managerial experience to his leadership position. Under Mr. Haun’s leadership, Nevada State Bank was awarded the insured deposits of the failed Silver State Bank in September 2008, as well as those of the failed Great Basin Bank of Nevada in 2009. He also spearheaded the reorganization of the bank into five lines of

business – retail, real estate, small business, commercial, and private banking – enabling Nevada State Bank to better serve the needs of each client group.Prior to joining Nevada State Bank, Mr. Haun served as executive vice president for a major southern California bank, where he was also on the bank’s executive committee. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the Sergeant-at-Arms was Kirk Alexander.• No International Rotarians (1) Visiting Rotarian from Waikiki. (5) Guests of Rotarians were introduced. • The drawing began at $2,224.00 plus this week’s donations. The winner gets half the pot and half goes to the Las Vegas Rotary Foundation. Ticket Winner: Jerry Engel who won $10. Lawry Bucks Winner: Bill Stephan. • President Mary Ann announced that they had (270) people attend Breakfast with Books. Brock Fraser also discussed what a great program this is and says that Spread the Word Nevada will work with your schedule.• Erik Astromeki announced that June 18, 2016 is “Rotarians at Work Day.”• Chirs Rodenfels presented the following people with Paul Harris Fellowships: Anil Melnick, Ryan Hamilton, Brock Fraser, Past President Jim Hunt, Ed Lepere, Past President Steve Linder, and Larry Tomsic.• Larry Tomsic introduced the guest speaker, Dr. David Kreamer, UNLV Geoscientist. Dr. Kreamer discussed water quality and climate change. He is a hydrophilanthropist who works in the Grand Canyon and N. Kenya. Projects include helping to install and sustain water wells in areas of need.• President Mary Ann presented the speaker with a “Sole Power Award” and adjourned the meeting.

NEVADA STATE BANKDallas E. Haun is Chief Executive Officer for Nevada State Bank, a division of ZB, N.A., and Executive Vice President of Zions Bancorporation. Mr. Haun took the reins of Nevada State Bank in September 2007, bringing more than 30 years of strong commercial banking expertise and substantial managerial experience to his leadership position. Under Mr. Haun’s leadership, Nevada State Bank was awarded the insured deposits of the failed Silver State Bank in September 2008, as well as those of the failed Great Basin Bank of Nevada in 2009. He also spearheaded the reorganization of the bank into five lines of

business – retail, real estate, small business, commercial, and private banking – enabling Nevada State Bank to better serve the needs of each client group.Prior to joining Nevada State Bank, Mr. Haun served as executive vice president for a major southern California bank, where he was also on the bank’s executive committee. In that position, he managed 12 regional centers, handling commercial and private banking throughout California. Mr. Haun began his banking career in Michigan, but soon came west and spent 20 years with a bank in southern California, eventually serving as president and chief operating officer.

A graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mr. Haun received his postgraduate degree from the University of Washington’s Pacific Coast Banking School. He also completed the Executive Program at the Anderson School of Business at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Mr. Haun currently serves on the board of directors for Three Square and the Board of Trustees for the UNLV Foundation and is a commissioner for the Nevada Commission on Tourism. In 2015, Mr. Haun was honored by the March of Dimes as the first Nevadan to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, one of only 200 given by the national organization. An advocate of education, Mr. Haun is actively involved in Nevada State Bank’s partnership with Ruby Thomas Elementary School in Las Vegas, as well as the bank’s relationship with Communities in Schools of Nevada and Nevada Succeeds. Mr. Haun also serves on the UNLV Campus Improvement Authority, an appointee of Governor Sandoval. He previously served on the board of trustees for the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce.
