That Perfect Smile

IMPLANTS

Affordable options for the whole family! Most people aren’t born with perfect teeth, and most would like

to find effective affordable ways to achieve a bright confident smile. When you have beautiful healthy teeth, you can enjoy theself-confidence that’s reflected in both your personal life and professional life. Even a small change to brighten your smile can brighten your outlook! Here are some smile-boosting options:

Whitening: An in-office or dentist-prescribed home whitening treatment is affordable and reliable, and offers fast results.

Bonding: A procedure that not only covers tooth damage and fills in gaps, bonding also gives teeth a more pleasing color and uniform shape.

Veneers: A durable porcelain shell covers the front of a tooth, hiding imperfections, stains, or fillings, and can alter tooth length and size.

As with you, when your kids have beautiful smiles, it boosts their self-esteem and gives them added confidence for the future. Orthodontics (which are not just for kids!) may be required to realign teeth, while in some cases, bonding and veneers can be used to provide a uniform look without orthodontics.

You and your family deserve to look and feel your best. Speak to us today about options that will suit your needs and budget.

Baby’s First CheckupIs it time?

Babies go through many stages of development that require medical supervision. Dental care is no exception.

Babies usually begin drooling at 2-3 months of age, long before cutting their fi rst tooth. This is no cause for concern, and has less to do with their teeth and more to do with their ability to digest solid foods in later growth stages.

For most babies, teeth begin erupting at 6-8 months. A dental checkup once the fi rst tooth is cut will allow us to look for decay and show you how to clean your child’s teeth.

You can help your child have a lifelong happy smile by scheduling regular checkups, learning how to care for their teeth in the early years, and teaching them how to brush and floss on their own later on.

Non-Dairy DelightsPick & Choose... ...You Can’t Lose!

Vitamin C and calcium are both very important for strong healthy teeth, gums, and bones. Looking for non-dairy sources? Try a salad from these mix ’n’ match fruits and vegetables. Just add your favorite salad dressing ... and voila!

IMPLANTSIMPLANTS Can Save Your Smile

AT ANY AGE!

Missing teeth or worn restorations can age you and make you feel less confident. They can also cause you to miss out on the things you once enjoyed, including your favorite foods.

But there is a solution: Implants! Implant-supported teeth look and function like natural teeth. They

offer superior stability and they help prevent bone loss in the jaw.

Implants can improve your smile by: Providing a permanent anchor for replacement teeth

Securing partial or full dentures, making them permanent and stable

Supporting your face and lips, giving you a more youthful look

No matter what your age, implants can improve your quality of life by restoring your natural bite pattern, making you look and feel better, and allowing you to enjoy all the foods you love!

The Mouth-Body LinkHow can gum disease affect your health?

Even when pre-existing conditions are taken into account, including family history, weight, cholesterol levels, and physical fi tness, periodontal (gum) disease is still proving to be a major contributor to serious illnesses. It has been linked to heart disease, respiratory infections, arthritis, diabetic complications, and even cancer ... including breast cancer.

That’s why taking care of your teeth and gums is so important to your overall health and wellbeing. And why it’s so important to diagnose, arrest, and reverse gum disease, monitoring it at every stage.

HERE’S SOME WISE SMILE ADVICE: Keep your regular dental checkups and cleanings. It’s essential.

Ensure all family members are paying attention to their oral health. Aggressive periodontal (gum)

bacteria has been known to transfer from infected family members to healthy ones.

Follow a strict regimen of daily brushing and fl ossing.

Follow your dentist’s and/or hygienist’s recommendations to achieve excellent oral health.

You and your family deserve to live life to the fullest. A few minutes of caring today may help you prevent serious health problems tomorrow.
