Good evening, I’m Jemma Mellor with your daily weather report. Today we have seen sunshine and cloud with a few spots of rain. Here we have a lovely photo of earls woods lakes sent in from one of our weather watchers, Lillian. Thank you. The remainder of today’s cloud is expected to clear away in an easterly direction as the evening draws in, leaving us with a clear, starry night. There will be an average temperature of 3C throughout the night which will produce a light cover of frost in some areas towards the [gesture towards centre] centre of the region which many of us will wake up to. Watch out for those icy windscreens. The following morning brings cold, frosty winds, so be sure to wrap up warm. Sunrise will be at 7.07am with a gradual increase in temperature towards midday with a high of 7’C for the day which is slightly warmer than this time last year. Tomorrow will be mostly dry with the odd few showers scattered throughout the afternoon. Showers will gradually disappear leaving a dry evening. However, we won’t be having another clear night tomorrow as the cloud from earlier in the day will stay with us. Wednesday morning will continue the trend, with the cold, frosty winds surfacing throughout the Midlands to make for another cold day. That’s all from me, Goodnight, and back to Lukasz and Brienne in the studio.
