The Pendulum Twitter page uses the theme colours of the most recent abum

(Immersion) The page features posts from the band, band members and acts associated with the band. Pendulum’s posts are predominately based on what band members have been doing musically. In the page description, there is a link to the official pendulum website, where there are tickets and merchandise on sale.

Official pendulum Website also features background graphics of their most recent album. The home page gives access to news and tour dates. Featured in the Pendulum Website are:

- Videos of Singles- Tour Updates- Photos and Videos of concerts.

- Updates from Band members- Band Biography and Discography.- Merchandise Links.

The Other SideThe Other Side is named after a Pendulum Single, it is a free membership in which you can upload videos and pictures of when they were at shows. There is also the opportunity to message other members. Members get earlier access to tickets, and can enter competitions.

The Pendulum Facebook Page is similar to the Twitter page in that it posts information and the activity of band members. As well this you can see if any of your friends are fans with

pendulum, and the total amount for people who “like” the band. Fans post photos of Pendulum shows and memorabilia.

The official Linkin Park website features The album cover of the most recent album : Living Things. The colour scheme

is also of the style of the album artwork. As well as this, on the main menu bar, there is a different coloured option entitled Living Things, from here people can get instant access to buying the album on digital or CD versions. Also on the website are:

- merchandise links- LPTV exclusive videos from the band themselves- Photos from tours concerts and promotions.- Fan Blogs and Forums.- Music Discography and Downloads.

Linkin Park UndergroundLP Underground is a membership only website that allows LP fans earlier access to tickets, and merchandise. Also, there is the chance to meet the band members, and talk to other LP Underground members. Finally members can go to LP Summits where they can meet each other and go on the stage with band member and take pictures of the stage etc often the band plays an acoustic set to the fans.

The Linkin Park Twitter page is coloured with the same colour scheme as their most recent album. This in conjunction with their profile picture (The Album cover) is used to advertise the

release. The left hand column gives the address to the official Linkin Park Website, where merchandise and tour tickets can be bought. The posts themselves are predominately competition based which attracts consumer interest. Fans and official photographers tag the band in the photos, these are often images from concerts or teasers as to album work, such as the band working in the studio.

The Linkin Park Facebook page features links to the official LP Website, as well as posts about what the band are doing, such as rehearsals and studio recording.

The Facebook page also gives offers for competitions to win merchandise and/or tickets.

As with the twitter page, Linkin Park’s Facebook page features the album cover of their most recent release to promote it.
