Join tens of thou-sands in Washington D. C. on Friday, January 27, to march peacefully in defense of the unborn. You can travel in comfort to the March for Life on a bus coach that will depart Indiana at 6:30 AM on the 27th. Once we arrive in Washington, you will be able to participate in the rallies before the March or join some of us in taking petitions to the offices of our senators and representatives. Following the March, which will begin at 1 PM, there will be additional opportunities to meet with government officials should you choose to do so. We will arrive back in Indiana
between 10:00 PM and 10:30 PM. Seating on the bus is limited, and the cost for the trip this year is $40. Financial assis-tance is also available for those in need. Contact me, Bill Ager, at 724-
465-4522 to make your reser-vation, or e-mail Dennis Ragan at [email protected]. The deadline to reserve a seat on the bus is Tuesday, January 17. Please note that anyone under the age of 18 travelling on the

PA State Council Scholarships The PA State Council of the Knights of Columbus will offer Scholarships of $3,000 to 10 sons or daughters of Pennsylvania Knights. Applications are due December 31. For details, please contact Grand Knight Don Hogan — or visit the PA State K of C web site: http://www.pakofc.us
The venue for our annual “Pig Roast” has changed. Sau-sage and Messy Joseph sandwiches with a huge selec-tion of snack foods. Do you like enjoying your favorite brew while watching the game? Bring your own 6 pack and share. One game only on several TVs. The AFC Championship starts at 3 PM on Sunday, January 22. Fewer tables and more chairs. If you like, bring your
own comfortable lawn chair rather than sit on those cold metal things at the lodge. All are welcome (and encouraged) so bring a pro-spective K of C member. $10 prior to the event or $15 at the door. Make your reservation by sending a check to Brother Bob Dalecki by January 13th at 401 Elm
St. (payable to “K of C Council 1481”). Brother Richard (Dicky) Kurimsky is our co-chair. Good times for sure at the lodge on January 22nd.

St. Bernard School really St. Bernard School really keeping Christ in Christmaskeeping Christ in Christmas
The Knights of Columbus are playing a big part in helping peo-ple to remember “The Real Reason for the Season.”
The second year of our “Keep Christ in Christmas” poster con-test is in full swing, with students participating from St. Bernard School and Faith Formation. Remembering the great participa-tion and excitement with the inception of this contest last year, we could hardly wait to start again this year — and we hope to sponsor the contest for many years to come. The many beautiful posters we received last year assure us that the stu-
dents are thinking of Christ being at the heart of Christmas, as they exer-cise their creativity.
As always, we were thrilled with the gracious welcome to display our “Keep Christ in Christmas” banner in front of St. Bernard School. What a great message we are conveying, not only to the students and staff, but also to the parents and all who visit
the school during the Christmas season!
We as Knights can be proud to be “Keeping Christ in Christmas” as we wish every-one a hearty “Merry Christmas.” —-Mike Morris
