Remember him as he serves us nationally with Pension and Insurance and as a board member of the Canadian Council of Christian Charities (CCCC). As one of the longest serving staff members at 25+ years, we greatly value Daryl and the experience he brings to his area of ministry. March 17 7:30 pm Hall meeting at the home of Allan and Joanne Veinot.

March 18 9:30 am Museum quilting party and pot luck lunch at the home of Wendy and Andy Looke, followed by the annual and regular meetings beginning at 1:30 pm.

March 18 2 pm Pastor Sam will be conducting the service at Rosedale Home.

March 19 7 pm Choir practice at the Church

April 6 3:30 pm Roll Call Service at the Church with Pastor Mitchell Foley from Pleasantville Baptist Church as guest speaker. Pot luck supper to follow at the hall.

April 10 7 pm Next Governing Board Meeting.

April 13 7 pm Gospel Music Night at the Church featuring Southwind, Harold and MaryAnn, The Gates Family, our choir/quartet. Free will offering and social time to follow.

April 26 Ladies Retreat - “Let Your Light Shine” at Chester Baptist Church. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and program 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. There will be special music, speakers, skits etc. Lunch will be provided. Free will offering Mark this date on your calendar.

Ladies "Low-Key" Walking Group: Fridays from 2-3pm. Meet at the Cheslea Road (off the Old Barss Corner Road) and park by the bridge. Call Connie if you have any questions (644-1013).

Long Lake camp is currently hiring for its summer staff positions. Applications are at www.longlakecamp.ca, and they are due March 15.

We are creating a method of raising funds to provide hot water (a Dept. of Health requirement) and to shingle the roof on the north side of the Church. Any donation towards this project would be appreciated. A thermometer will be placed at the back of the Church to show our progress.
