1) One of the first steps you will want to take is exporting the movies that you typically use out of Aquarium.

a. Make sure your watermark is how you would like it to appear on your movies and your logo is embedded before exporting. If you need to make changes to your watermark, contact [email protected]

2) You have a choice of exporting the movies one-by-one, or by hiding the movies you don’t use, than clicking on all and exporting the movies.

To hide movies, just drag them on the word hide, or right click and choose hide.

Once the movies are hidden, you can click on all in the left menu, then click on the Aquarium header area, choose file, export. Once the movies are exported they are available to be embedded in power point slides.

If you plan on using Dolphin Imaging image control boxes (and you will want to) you will want to enable Active X controls in Power Point by going under File – Options- Trust Center.


You will also have to enable the developer ribbon to bring the images into the presentation. Go to Options, customize ribbons and enable the Developer ribbon.

When it comes times to add a Dolphin Image Control object you wil come to the developer ribbon.


Lets create a slide with a Dolphin Image control and an Aquarium Movie.

Open up your power point slide with the graphics layout you would like to use.

To insert your aqarium movie, select the INSERT ribbon, then choose video.

Choose video from PC. Your aquarium movies are stored in the Aquarium/Export folder.


You will want your movie to start automatically when the slide is presented.

Next add an image or a composite to the slide:

Go to the Developer Ribbon and choose the more controls icon.


Choose the object you would like to insert. Dolphin Image Control is an individual image. Dolphin Layout object is a composite or a ceph with tracing.

Once you insert the image into the presentation, you will need to tell the software what image you want display. This is done by Right clicking on the image. You can copy the layman’s terms from your Layman letter and paste it in a text box or add the text later in the SQ


Now let’s hook your media up to a Super Questionnaire for Presentation Purposes.

Go to the Edit - > General ->

Now that your slides are created, you can tie the media to a Super Questionnaire for use at an initial exam.

Click on New, and Create your Presentation:

The purpose of groups allows you to quickly group your answers when creating a presentation for a patient.

For Example – the grouping of the, will play the same slides for every patient.

Introduction:1. A slide describing the practice and the doctor and what makes them different2. A slide with the composite of the patient welcoming to the practice.


Diagnosis:

These can be divided into Dental Findings and Skeletal Findings – some examples follow.

1. Slides grouped to the patients diagnosis:a. Dentition Development (sample slide included)b. Overbite (a slide with right and left buccal shots on one side and an aquarium movie on

the other)c. Crowding (upper and lower occlusals of patient) and Aquarium crowding movie)d. Lip Posture – Profile photo of patient and Aquarium movie.

2. Treatmenta. Fixed appliancesb. Removable appliances.

You can add and order the groups the way you would like them to display in your presentation and add the media right from the same window.
