Q1. Explain the reasons for:

a. Waking up the people of the cave:

Ans: Allah wanted to make a clear example in front of the people and wanted to show the people the sign of His majesty that He is capable of everything.

Revealing their secret to the people of their age:

Ans: By revealing their secret, Allah wanted to teach the people the concept of resurrection. The people will get a life after the death.

b. Narrating their story in the Quran:

Ans: This was an answer to the Rabbis of Jews who wanted to authenticate the prophethood of Mohammed (pbuh). The story mentioned in in Quran will also remain an example for the generations till the Day of Judgement.

Q2. Mention the reasons behind delaying the descent of this Surah.

Ans: The people were arguing among themselves about the exact number of the people of the Cave, The Prophet, pbuh said that he would talk about it tomorrow, he did not say In Sha Allah. The revelation got delayed and then came with notification to the Prophet to say ‘In sha Allah’ with all the matters. This was a lesson to all as Allah wills shall happen & if wants, he would give the knowledge, if he does not want nobody can take a charge over Him. We must mention Allah & ask Him guidance & direction.

Q3. Read the given situation and enemurate the importance of saying “INSHAALLAH”.

Allah is the controller & the best planner of the affairs, if He wills the things will happen, if he does not, the matters will not happen (for our betterment). We must put our complete trust in Almighty & seek His mercy & make a habit of saying “In sha Allah” for all our future planning.

He may not be able to travel due to financial crisis or health issues, only Allah knows best & He can only control the affairs of our life.
