PE Snakes & Ladders Task

Requirements: You will need to research, find and select 30 activities that you can insert into the playing board above.

When you are choosing these activities, the following must be considered:

What equipment (if any) will you require to complete these exercises and do you have access at home? You may have to complete anywhere from 20-30 of these exercises before a winner is decided. Is this safe and attainable?

Have you considered the difficulty level of your exercise selections (how hard is each exercise) and the length of time they would each take to complete.

Are your exercise selections using a variety of muscle groups e.g. arms, legs, core muscles Are you including any sport specific exercises into your game board e.g. football juggling for one minute. What area(s) at home do you have access to when completing this game, and how can you ensure you participating safely? Once you have created your game, email a copy to Mr Evers

How to play: Find some type of counter to represent each player. You may need to raid an old board game, use coloured pegs etc. Each player rolls one dice to select the start player (highest number rolls first) Take it in turns to roll the dice and move your counter forward the number of spaces shown on the dice Complete the exercise that is named on the game board number you land on. This must be done before the next player

takes their roll If your counter lands on the bottom of the ladder, move up to the top of that ladder If the counter lands on the head of a snake, you must slide down to the bottom of that snake The first player to land on the finish box (#32) wins the game
