To help memorise these spelling list words try and draw a scenario that explains their definition.

Activity 2 - Journal Writing

As we have had many opportunities for narrative writing this semester. Write a series of 3 journal entries pretending you are a migrant coming to Australia. Some information that will be relevant could be:

What economic background are you from? (how does that impact on your travel plans?)

What do you intend to do when arriving in Australia?

Are there any conditions to your VISA or Citizenship? (eg. Ten Pound Pom, Dictation Test etc).

The evidence that you provide can be a combination of;

What you literally see in the photograph

Your prior knowledge on immigration

Any additional research you uncover
