Activity 2 - Journal Writing
As we have had many opportunities for narrative writing this semester. Write a series of 3 journal entries pretending you are a migrant coming to Australia. Some information that will be relevant could be:
Are you part of a cultural group?
What economic background are you from? (how does that impact on your travel plans?)
What do you intend to do when arriving in Australia?
Are there any conditions to your VISA or Citizenship? (eg. Ten Pound Pom, Dictation Test etc).
Entry 1 - Why you are leaving
Entry 2 - What the voyage is like
Entry 3 - Your first impressions of Australia when you arrive.
Be sure to use evidence from what you have been studying so far during Inquiry.

You are asked to make 4 unique inferences about each photo and justify those statements with 4 pieces of evidence.
The evidence that you provide can be a combination of;

Your prior knowledge on immigration
Any additional research you uncover
