Air Pollution ExperimentThis experiment involves hanging a plate in the air with an adhesive substance on it to

see how much invisible dirt and dust particles are flowing through our air.

1. Create two holes in the paper plate, approximately 6 cm apart.

2. Thread the string through the holes and create a knot at the top.

3. Turn the paper plate over and record a name and date.

4. Flip the paper plate over again and coat the centre of the plate in Vaseline.

5. Securely hang the plate anywhere outside the classroom.

6. Record observations weekly about what can be noticed sticking to the Vaseline.

7. Check after one month how much dust and dirt particles have stuck to the paper plate.
