Just A Reminder, Christmas Is Everyday From Pastor Tony Greetings and Peace to You from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ! We’re now well into our journey together at HUMC and it has been a blessing to serve as your Pastor. As we move forward, my continued hope and prayer is that we would spend more time with God outside of Sunday mornings. The best way to hear from God is by getting into His Word and allowing Him to speak to our hearts and minds. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” I have certainly found His Word to be alive Over the Hedge

Just A Reminder, Christmas Is Everyday

From Pastor Tony

Greetings and Peace to You from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!

Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” I have certainly found His Word to be alive and active, speaking to us through every season of life, through every trial and tribulation and through every blessing and victory.

Praising and Serving Him!

From Tony’s Boss

Happy Summer Everyone!

Our first Sunday at HUMC was different than I expected. Walking into the Sanctuary to meet Tony and help him set up, I found walking into the room very strange. It had always been where I would find Dennis. I said to Tony, “this is so weird.” Afterwards, I described the service like ripping the band aid off. We just had to do it, then the nerves will calm, and we’d be alright. I was so glad Tony already had his sermon prepared from the week before. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and I greatly appreciate that!

I’m excited for what comes next for HUMC. I can’t wait to see how Loaves and Fishes works and to get involved in some Bible Studies and Small Groups. These activities will really help us get to know each other better. I like the scripture Tony had quoted before that says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” ~ Proverbs 27:17

With Love,

Jen Pirrone
