the gingerbread man / run, run as fast as you can, you can’t catch me I’m the gingerbread man / “what are you doing?” asked the horse / first / next / then / finally/ and that was the end of the gingerbread man). Encourage children to retell the story, reminding them to use good speaking skills and character voices where appropriate.

Gaeilge Register with folensonline as outlined above. Search “Abair Liom Senior Infants”. The Senior Infant programme is Abair Liom B – click on the green “resources” tab. Click on the “Lesson” drop down menu and select number 23. An Cháisc Begin with Luaschártaí -new vocab for the week, Comhrá – listen and repeat after the

characters, Póstaer – includes the story, word games and songs & poems, Cártaí Meaitseála - helps children to learn the new words.

MathsNumber bonds – continue hands on activities for the story of 10 and revise number bonds for 6, 7, 8, and 9. Children should be able to write out all the ways of making each number. Register with Twinkl.ie using code IRLTWINKLHELPS to access worksheets on number bonds and addition.
